She is a liar and doesn't know how to run a businessI finally had my request answered by someone else at the company who gave very different information than what Dee has givenIf she would have responded to my request I would not have to keep requesting the same informationI am going to move out of this unit that I've been in for almost years because they don't know how to run a businessIt's disappointing that it was sold because when it was just [redacted] the service was so much better and they actually wanted to help their customers and make things convenient for them Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Sincerely, [redacted]

I am the manager of all three locations for Bernie's Mini Storages located in Richland, Wa, Kennewick, Wa, and Pasco, Wa [redacted] sent a text to the business phone after working hours requesting her balance after she called me while I was driving from Richland to KennewickI did not respond until the following day since my work day had officially ended at 5pmI do not have Wifi in my car but the following day I went into the Kennewick office, pulled up her record and texted her the information which she had requestedThere is only one of me and the offices are NOT manned from to There are signs on each gate stating that you MUST call to make an appointmentOur policy for making payments which changed in January is that a tenant MUST MAIL their rent payment to a specific mail box in RichlandThere are signs in each office with the location mail box printed on each sign as well as the late fee effective date and the amountThe mail is picked up once a week by the owner, taken to his CPA who makes copies of each method of payment and forwards the copies to a third party who does the input of each transactionI do not post payments; I only rent units to new tenants and other pertinent duties[redacted] was delinquent and waiting to send her paymentI respond in writing due to instances with tenants like [redacted] .Thank you.Dee B [redacted]

Mr*** *** was $delinquent in his payment for March ($rent plus $late fee)His April payment was due in the amount of $He stated that he wanted to remove his property from the storage unit which he was rentingI informed him of the procedure for doing soThe procedure was that
he would need to mail the delinquent amount of $plus $for April to our P.OBox, make an appointment on Saturday to remove his property and pay a refundable $clean out deposit and leave the unit rent readyThe $refundable deposit would be refunded to him and that he had to have the deposit when he came to clean out his unit and turn it over to me until the move out was completed.fromMr*** mailed the $with the $delinquency to our P.OBox which is posted by a third partyThe April payment was withheld the $plus $from the $mailedI contacted Mr*** and informed him that he only needed to bring $for the clean out deposit which would be refunded that day and the remaining $would be mailed to himHe gave me the $which was returned to him upon clean out of the unitA part time assistant witnessed the refund of the deposit.He left without saying a word after the refund was returned to him.Dee B*** ManagerBernie's Mini Storages

I am rejecting this response because:I have still not received the information I have requested regarding my balance from over a month agoI sent my first message at 10:01AM on Thursday April I did not receive any response so I sent another message after I got off of work that evening at 6:31PMFriday afternoon at 3:02PM Dee responded and told me she had moved and the WiFi was not connected yet so she could not give me the balance dueShe told me that I could go to the gate and push the code and it would give me the balance due which is not correctWhen we went to the gate it told us to callMy husband called and left a voicemail and she never called backWe also have not received a bill or any contact in writing so I’m not sure what she is referencingI am going to reach out again to try and get someone to give me the balance dueI just want to be able to pay my bill

Ms*** receives a statement via USPS each month just like the other tenants with her balance and delinquent payments and she continues to call a minimum of four times a month requesting her balanceShe is provided the information which she requests once a month in addition to her statement. Her denial of receiving the information is not true! Her calls are redundant and prohibits me from doing my job of managing three mini storagesShe will call requesting her balance one day and is given the information, then call back within the week with the same requestHer calls are a nuisance, continuous, and interfers with me trying to take care of the needs of the other tenants as well.Dee

When the [redacted]' opted to move from the smaller unit (10x10) to a larger unit (10x20), they were given a card with their unit number, the cost of the unit, and the passcode in which to enter the electronic gate which is controlled by the company computer software program. If there is an outstanding...

balance on the account, a notice appears on the screen stating that the tenant is locked out. The [redacted] continued to pay $70 which was the price for the smaller unit rather than the $140 cost for the larger (10x20) unit. After explaining this fact to the wife, the price was never changed on their bill pay through their bank. Their refusal to listen to the reason for the lock out. They threatened me with calling the police and turning the account over to their attorney. I gave up trying to respond to their 10 plus phone calls per day.Bernie's Wellsian Way Mini Storages does not owe them any amount of money due to their own negligence and failure to pay their delinquent amount. I explained the procedure to them for moving from the facility which is that they have to be paid in full, an appointment date and time would be set, a $75 cashiers check refundable clean out deposit would have to be paid prior to allowing them access to their unit and would be returned to them after inspecting the unit which is to be cleaned and left rent ready. They ignored that concept.Mr. [redacted] threatened me with answering their phone calls within a two hour time span which is impossible with three different mini storages to manage and taking care of issues which occur on a daily basis.We will be happy to allow the [redacted]' the opportunity to remove their property from our storage facility which has to be completed in one trip and cannot last longer than three hours.Thank you.Dee B[redacted] ManagerBernie's Maximum Security Mini Storages
