Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me Sincerely, [redacted] do they issue the money to Leonard Evans Cars or how does that get taken care of ???

This letter is in response to a complaint filed by *** *** concerning repairs to the vehicle she purchased from Wenatchee Kia. Ms*** purchased the BMW from Wenatchee Kia in October of Ms*** presented an estimate of repairs to us (roughly three weeks ago) from a
local used car dealership to repair a headlight on her vehicle and asked Wenatchee Kia to pay the amount of approximately $1400. I explained to Ms*** that she purchased the vehicle in October 2016. I told her I was not inclined to pay the bill as she did buy the vehicle as-is. I explained to Ms*** when you purchase a vehicle that that means the buyer is responsible for future repairs. Ms*** stated that she would be happy if the dealership paid $500. I would like to dispute what Ms*** said in that I did not at any time use foul language during our conversation. It was absolutely the opposite. I did, however, and after examining the quote, suggest that because the vehicle was not brand new that the headlight could be replaced with an aftermarket part or a used part at less than half the cost. I also explained even though the vehicle was purchased that I would be willing to participate by contributing $towards the repair. I suggested I would call the local dealership and work with them to find the part needed. Ms*** then blew up on me and said I bought a BMW and the part better say BMW on it. I explained to Ms*** that because she was struggling to pay for the repair that it was better to go with an aftermarket part or used part. I explained to her that if someone purchased a new car and drove it a few months and had an accident that it was possible their insurance company would use aftermarket parts to repair their vehicle. I asked her why she wouldn’t take advantage of the cost savings. We ended our conversation by agreeing that I would call the dealership and discuss it with their service manager and try to bring the cost in line with what she could afford. We also agreed that Ms*** as well as Ms***’s mother would stop calling the dealership screaming obscenities at our office staff and our service manager. I explained to her that I am much more motivated to help with the repairs if we could stay calm and discuss it. It was late in the day ( I was calling the dealership in the morning) and the next thing I know we have a Revdex.com complaint filed and a day or two later a complaint filed with the AG Office. In light of the complaints , in light of our staff having to deal with an irate customer screaming foul words at them, I am still willing to assist in the amount of $ I made an offer I am willing to stand by, but unfortunately, I can’t help reduce the costs as it is my understanding the vehicle was already fixed when I spoke to Ms*** that same day Best Regards David G*** General Manager Wenatchee Kia

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: the car salesman lied to me about it having alot of problems After I bought it and went in and complained about the vehicle I was then told that the truck was across the lot for a reason cause it has problems with it! Why would I have wasted my time on a vehicle that already had problems and invest more money into it right off the batI want to have my jeep back and I know that they still have itTo invest money and time right off of getting a vehicle isnt okay when the person who sold me the truck lied about everything to meI'll just like to have my same vehicle back at the same interest rate and the balance I owed at the time of trade in on my jeep
Sincerely,
*** ***

Ms*** purchased her Chevy Avalanche from Wenatchee Kia in condition. We disclosed to Ms*** what we knew about the vehicle. Ms*** decided it would be best prior to her purchasing the vehicle to take it to someone who would inspect the vehicle for her. We
agreed. We allowed Ms*** to take the vehicle for most of the day to have her inspection done prior to purchase. Only after Ms*** and whoever inspected the vehicle for her were comfortable with the vehicle did we consummate the deal and do paperwork. Ms*** had every opportunity and plenty of time to consider the purchase of this vehicle. I think it is worthy to note that the only issues Ms*** has communicated to date are very minor. The vehicle had 149,miles on it at the time of purchase and is in pretty good shape. The fact the CD player didn't work was unfortunate. I will reiterate what I told Ms***. We will certainly help get the minor things done she wanted fixed at a considerable discount to help her out. Regards*** ***General Manager Wenatchee Kia

This letter is in response to a complaint filed by [redacted], one of our customers.  Unfortunately,  I think we could have done a better job explaining to our customer the circumstances surrounding the pricing of the 06 Chevrolet Trailblazer.  The price for the Trailblazer was...

inadvertently posted to several websites through an electronic feed which displayed the incorrect price.  This was an input error.  The vehicle was also displayed in the local Nickel Ads at $3991.  We requested a correction from the Nickel Ads and posted the correction at the dealership.  The challenge of removing the vehicle from websites in which it was posted proved a bit more challenging.  We did however managed to correct the price on some of those websites as well as our website and then subsequent ads of the Nickel Ads ran the correct $5991 price.  As anyone can imagine, our customer was not happy after they were told the price was a mistake.  We do our best to satisfy our customers.  We did offer our customer a discount from our asking price to try and accommodate them. This turned out to be a mute gesture as in this particular instance,  Ms. [redacted] did not have funds to purchase and was waiting on a tax refund.    We appreciate Ms. [redacted] attempting to purchase a vehicle from Wenatchee Kia.  I would like to extend an invitation to Ms. [redacted] because I know what a challenge it is to purchase a less expensive vehicle like this one. If Ms. [redacted] chooses not to purchase a vehicle from Wenatchee Kia we would still be happy to have a vehicle she does want to purchase elsewhere  inspected by one of our technicians.  We will inspect the vehicle thoroughly and at no cost to her.  We hope this will help Ms. [redacted] purchase a good car and make up for the inconvenience.    We will do our best in the future to limit any errors and continue to strive to  give the best possible service whether our customers purchase from us or decide to go elsewhere.      Respectfully,   David G[redacted] General Manager Wenatchee Kia

Our previous offer of helping our customer fix the very minor issues with her vehicle still stands. Returning the vehicle she purchased and getting her jeep back is not an option.  The vehicle was sold at a wholesale dealers auction.  The trade in vehicle did not pass our mechanical inspection needed for retail sale.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: My jeep has been on the lot for resale until I started this complaint and wanted it back. There is no way that the truck would have passed the inspection with how many problems it has. You told me it was across the lot for the reason cause it had problems. You guys were probably gonna be sending it off to auction before I came along and was interested in it. Its wrong to sale someone a vehicle when you new there were problems with it and it was gonna go to an auction.  There was nothing wrong with my jeep prior to trade in and no know that for a fact because I went to my mechanic and auto zone to check my codes and everything. So you saying it didn't pass inspection is a huge lie. You guys aren't a honest dealership at all!!!!! You will lie to your customers to make a buck. I have heard so much negative stuff about kia after I have bought this truck. You guys have done this to many customers!!!!!! You aren't honest or trust worthy! !!!!!
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Review: I came to a verbal agreement with a sales person at the dealership regarding the vehicle we were interested in. the sales person was well aware of what we were willing to and able to spend on the vehicle. we left the dealership and my wife returned the next day to make the deal and sign the contract, and purchase the vehicle. when she returned home she was vrey upset and showed me the contract that she signed for almost 50% more than we had come to agreement on the day before.I called the sales manager to try to understand how this could happen and my options, because my wife and can't afford what was on the agreement. his explanations were that he tells his salesmen, to do whatever they can to make the deal even though they have little power or influence in the actual deal. I asked if I could bring the vehicle back and get my money back.he said this is not possible.Desired Settlement: I want our money and van back in return for their van and the contract eliminated.
