Wendover Nugget Hotel & Casino

I checked into the Nugget Hotel on Friday the 26th 2014 and stayed for 2 nights for a softball tournament paying $69.60 a night so equalling $139.20. First of all the rooms were complete crap and there was a used needle under one of the beds and when I said something about it they just discarded it and didn't care to do anything more even though I had two young children in the room! Also when I was there I walked into the casino around 2 am Saturday morning and a machine landed on my foot bruising my big toe and now causing my toe nail to fall off, when I addressed the situation to management they said make sure the machine is locked and walked off. Now I'm needing to go to the doctor for horrible pain in my foot! Then I get home Sunday and Monday comes around and I go to use my card and it says there is no money on it! Checked my bank account and they ran my card twice charging $139.20 and another $139.20 with other pending charges sitting on my account right now such as $69.60! I have tried calling them daily to get this figured out! I talked to the hotel director [redacted] and she stated they cannot do anything and didn't know what I was talking about and hung up on me! Very unprofessional!! Just want to get these matters solved and the money back in my account so I can use my card. Personally I don't think we owe anything because of everything that went on and the needles found in my room! But I just want my overpayment back at this point!Desired SettlementI want the money refunded that was charged twice! Ultimately I want to be refunded for the whole weekend because they didn't care to change our room when they found needles and didn't care to do anything when the machine landed on my foot!

I was charged on my credit card for a free room. I had a coupon for a free room which the reservationist took along with my personal information. When I returned from my trip to Wendover Nugget I had a charge on my credit card for the $97.44 room charge. I have left messages each day for the past eight days with not one response or return call from the Manager [redacted].Desired SettlementAt this point I want the $97.44 returned to my bank account.

I would like to make a complaint about the situation that happened over the weekend of September 6th, 2014. I made a reservation a week in advance but when I arrived at the Wendover NV Golden Nugget hotel on Saturday evening my reservation was nowhere to be found. However, my credit card had been charged and I was told every other room was taken as were all of the other casinos and even small hotels in the area. So since every hotel room was booked and I arrived too late to do my sports book betting I was forced to sleep in my car or drive over 100 miles back home and come back the next day. so I could make my bets when the sports book opened. The next morning a refund was made on my credit card however no room was offered for my next trip out to Wendover nor any type of compensation for my troubles. I thought the professionalism was completely lacking at this establishment and would ask that this situation be looked into and rectified immediately.Desired SettlementA comped night stay of equal value, so on a weekend an explanation of what happened
