We hired T&M Construction to replace all screws on our pool enclosure as a lot of them were rusty and we were just about to get the built-in pool and lanai floor resurfaced. The last thing we needed was rust falling down onto them. They informed us the entire job would take approximately 2 days. Payment for the entire project had to be made up-front. That's our fault for trusting this company to begin with, big mistake. Unfortunately for us, we didn't check their work immediately at the end of their second visit when it was supposedly complete. The first thing we noticed were rusty screws not only on the lanai floor, but *in [redacted] the pool itself. Also, in quite a few spots they simply replaced screws and did nothing about the surface rust under them on the beams themselves. In some cases, these spots were as large as inch in diameter, and of course should have been taken care of before new screws were installed. There were also screws that had been removed and not replaced (missing screws). In total, we had to have them return 4 times to fix things that we found wrong. It took weeks for the first 3 return visits and still there were problems that were ignored, even though all of that was pointed out to them in detail. So, yet another appointment with one of their "specialists" to come and have a look. He examined the work, and agreed it was indeed not completed correctly. He fixed a few things, said he needed parts, and that he would return to complete the job within a few days. We had to call him back 4 times before he finally did. His answer was always, "I'm very busy, but probably sometime tomorrow". Well, it took a month of "tomorrows" for him to finally come back and finish the job. Not only was all of this aggravating beyond description, but it caused a long delay before the pool and lanai company could start their work. That in turn delayed travel plans for which we had already made arrangements. No exaggeration, I have never seen more shoddy workmanship on anything in my life. I wouldn't hire this company to replace my front screen door, let alone restore a pool enclosure.
