I am very surprised at an A+ rating for this organization since all the customer reviews are 100% negative and they have complaintsThis organization has not maintained a positive track recordThey are very misleading when they state they will resolve something they fail to keep the customer informed that they are not resolvingThey are not a company that honors their promises They are not responsive to the needs of the customers I submitted a claim in October and was told in November it was in processing and should take daysHave to keep calling and still not resolved and was told it never made it to processing by another representativeSo now it is being expedited which there process takes another daysAlthough I always believed it was a good idea to get gap insurance when purchasing a car I will inform all others how much of a hassle it is and I will not every purchase gap insurance again if this is the company that manages the claims

DON'T BUY THEIR PROTECTION PLANS -
Seems they will try any and all tactics to avoid paying a claim First they tell you just take your car anywhere and we will reimburse the service provider Then you have the work done, you have to pay it yourself, as the service provider won't release your vehicle unless paid, and then they keep asking for more and more from me, then tell me it will be paid in hours, and then they ask for proof of payment again The dealership that did the repair sent them copy of bill marked paid, and they say that isnt enough Then they person I am speaking with today calls the dealership and they verify I paid, and still not enough They want me to send them a copy of my credit card statement These guys are ridiculous

I would NOT recommend Safe-GuardI felt that my documents were mishandled and their customer service is very poorI would call to verify that a document had been received and then be told that they still didn't have it I would remind them of the dates it had been emailed or faxed and they would say, "Oh, you're righthere it is, but now we need this....", or I would be told I had to wait to days before they could tell if they had received what they neededThis happened over and over againI asked to speak to a supervisor several different times, only to be sent to voice mailMy experience with Safe-Guard was very frustrating!

I filed a claimI called weeks later after I submitted paperworkI was told claim was denied and I would receive a letterLetter never arrivedI emailed times requesting letterI called requesting letter and never received it I was left with a 10k amount with no explanationHow can companies like this still be in business? I paid my insurance why are they not doing their partThis is fraudI will look for legal support

This was one of the most off-putting and comparative customer experiences I've ever hadAfter putting a deposit down on a factory warranty deal (given days to change my mind) I called back to cancel and had to argue to get my cancellationThe customer service representative's name was CaseyShe asked me extremely personal questions like: why can't you pay? Well why did you even sign up if you can't afford it? How are you going to pay for your car's repairs? She then proceeded to tell me that I needed to be quiet and let her speakShe also threw about more sales pitches at me ( lowering my monthly rate even though I was already at the lowest rate supposedly)She then told me that she was "trying to be nice" and that I'm the first person to ever cancel so quickly and she needed an explanation as to whyConclusively she left me hanging on the phone for about minutes in silence while I asked "are you there?" As she proceeded to say "do you want this cancelled or not?" - so we sat there in silence for about more minutes before she told me my money would be refunded in daysDO NOT FALL INTO THIS SCAM! All they want is money and they're horrible people that will say anything to get it!!!

PLEASE RESEARCH BEFORE YOU BUY!!!! This business is very unprofessionalI called in to cancel the service after mistakenly buying before researching them myselfFirst off, I couldn't a website for Safe Guard AutoAll I could find is scam articles related to third-party warranty servicesAfter calling the cancellation process was such a nightmare, asking you extremely intrusive questions, just to attempt to keep you with their servicesI would never recommend them to anybodyI've never dealt with such unprofessionalism in my lifeThey were pretty much putting words in my mouth, saying " You haven't even gotten your contract in the mail, I think you all you want is too review it before you make any decision" worst customer service experience everI like to consider myself as a very understanding customer, when it comes to reasoning, not arguing with workers just doing their job; but this was the first time I have ever had to argue my point acrossTheir unrelenting persistence was the same thing that grew more doubt in me about their legitimacyTheir poor customer service didn't help at all eitherIf there's any thing that I could help other people out with I willThat's why I strongly advise to research this company before you fall into this scam of vultures just out for your money

A horrible companyThey have no issues taking your money yet take there sweet time assessing a claimFor every document, it takes 7-business days for the adjuster to receive itThen if something is off or a page is missing or they cant see it, they send you an e mail saying they cant process your claimThen you send them missing pages again and it will take another business dayThere re not updatesYou cant call to say, "is this document what you were looking for?"Noyou just have to waitAnd god forbid something is wrong, then guess what? Anther business daysThey did this to an associate of mine named Kimberly and she lost her job because she was not able to get a car due to the balance on her loanShe had babieswhat is she supposed to do now? And now I am going through the same thingIt is going on months and "Lakisha" still cant finish her jobI am not asking for a favorI am asking that they do there jobAvoid this Ghetto compaby

Very misleading. High pressure sales to scam you into an extended warranty that is based on lies. Received four letters stating my factory warranty was expiring in one week.

A horrible company with horrible practices. It is going on a month now and they still have not paid out on our GAP claim yet. We have sent the document 3 times now and no updates AND we were told that it would be another 10 business days because the time re-starts every time the receive a new document. Avoid this company at all costs. Go with your own insurance company for GAP.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Took nearly a week to get an adjuster to look at my car and still have not approved repairs after TWO different adjusters looking at the car. Now they are holding off as they look for a used turbo which the specifically stated they would never put a used turbo in a car but yet I am now stuck without my car for at least another week as they scour the web for some dirt cheap, worn out piece. Shady, greasy company that will take your money and screw you from there.
