On Jan , I received an email stating there was a response to my review on Yelp In the response , it basically said they were sorry and although they couldn't do anything about the dress ordered, to please call and they could help me with obtaining a new dress I needed to call the store Not sure what this meant, I called the store around asking for the person who was indicated to have written the response on Yelp ( Norman ) When I called and spoke with Jackie, I was told he was not at that location and I will have to discuss with the general manager , LilShe was currently with a customer and shouldn't be long but she will call me back At approx 630, I received a message from Lil When I was able to call back approx min later , she already had left for the day .I sent an email on the 23rd showing the picture above , requesting to talk to someone new I re-sent it on the 24th With still no response , on Jan around noon, I called and asked for Lil Again she was busy but would call me in a little bit On Jan , I received a call/voicemail from Lyla After calling them back , it has basically come down to their word against mine They seem to feel they did no wrong , that they represented themselves correctly from moment one I disagree I had another dress from their store in hand in the color I wanted I showed this to their consultant and if they felt the color wasn't close , I relied on them to steer me away if there was going to be that severe of a color difference I feel that it is their job and their responsibility to guide me correctly , that is why they are the "experts "That is why I entrusted my purchase to them My question is this; Why have a catalog online with the ability to change the color of the dress if the colors are not a true representation of how it's going to look ? Why didn't they tell me the color would vary that much ? Yes, the swatch was shown , but if you are trained that the colors are v***ly different, why even pull up the designer and show me how it will look on the iPad in the store ? My daughter actually called the company and asked them to describe the color of the dress They replied light grey When I mentioned this phone conversation to Lyla , she said this dress was light grey and it was my opinion it was not (not one person I have shown the picture of this dress believes it's silver or light grey- and believe me I have shown plenty It has been described to me as charcoal or dark grey) Lyla stated she believes that "in your mind I think you truly believe you were mislead, but in our mind we truly believe we didn't " Do I believe Taylor intentionally mislead me , no Do I believe , things should have been said and pointed out differently absolutely ! If they had been , I would have never have agreed to purchase this color , as I believe it is not a color for a beach summer wedding ! I paid more for this dress , then I did for my own wedding dressBy the end of the conversation with Lyla, she offered me a partial refund if I was willing to post on my negative reviews that we had come to a mutual agreement I have thought about this offer a lot, and although I would prefer a full refund , I would be willing to do this if we meet half way50: We each take half of the responsibility Although , this doesn't make up for the color , it would enable me to search for a new dress and leave this one hanging in my closet

My initial request was for a full refund The initial offer back from the business was for $with the request that I take down all negative feedback I countered with $and the dress They came back with $but they keep the dress I declined saying I wasn't doing that I was told that was the final offer I understood that absolutely no further offer was coming The discussion was overThey then told me to pick up the dress but had decided to give me the $anyway When my daughter picked up the dress , they said to her that they agree the dress was not anything like the color of the picture I was shown and they have requested all consultants to not show images of dresses any longer How does that help me now ? My daughter came out stating " they know they are wrong but they just won't do anything about it ." They did issue her a $ refund Am I happy? absolutely not ! I have a dress in color that I did not choose based on the recommendation of their consultant They have multiple times ( Lil)basically inferred I am a liar and they can do no wrong They do not believe in customer service at all I am on a time crunch for a dress, and they know that They could care less that I didn't get the dress they presented to me They also know they left me with no choice but to take the dress because I have no time to order another before the wedding This company needs to learn what customer service means I was willing to meet them half way but their solution was to meet half way , keep the dress they knew I needed , resell and make more money off of it I would be $poorer with absolutely nothing to show for it They could have even offered to order a new dress to replace but no They could have kept the $, it will never make up for ruining part of my dream ( I spent more on this dress than I did for my own wedding dress ) Thank goodness , my daughter didn't get her dress from there ! Please let this serve as our response to the complaint issued against us by *** ***.*** purchased her gown with us on 1-10-We discussed her sizing with her and noted on herpaperwork that it may be snug in the waistWhen she had an issue wlth her zipper, we immediatelyreplaced it at no
charge.The gown in question was purchased over the phone by *** Tharp on 1-8-with measurementsprovided by *** herselfThe size we advised was not the size she wanted to go with - in fact it was asize that would be 3" too small in the waist.When *** brought the gown back to us, It had been modified, altered and cut where the zlpper wassplitWe do not feel as though it was a manufacturer defect that caused her issue, but we are willing todo the necessary repairs to the zipper free of charge.I hope this adequately explains our side of the situationPlease let us know if further lnformatlon isneeded.Thank you,*** ***Owner ManagerWendy's Bridal
