The guest had ordered several items/mealsWithin 10-minutes, the guest arrived back at our drive thru window claiming that there were many small hairs in her food and handed back her bags of food*** asked if the guest would like the food remade, a credit for her next visit, or her money refunded*** spoke with the guest for about minutes and repeatly apologized The guest had ordered a water bottle and said she will keep that and to refund the rest of her moneyThe original receipt the guest still had was for $I, Shawna M*** rung up her refund on our dining room cash register, so it changed her total to $due to being rung in for dine in, not carry outI refunded her a total of $minus the amount for the bottled water which was originally $I had gave the guest both her receipts back, with both amounts, so she was aware her original amount was less then what the refund receipt statedThe guest told *** she was keeping the water bottle in the beginning and wanted the refund for the remaining food, which was delivered to the guestI and the other manager looked into the bags of food and nothing was touched or taken out of the bagsThe potato and sandwiches were still wrapped exactly how we prepare themWe wrap our sandwiches with a corner twist on each side, and I was the person who had prepared her sandwiches and potato with dried chives on it, so the sandwiches were never unwrapped by the guestI opened the sandwiches and potato and there was no trace of any hairs what so everWe offered the guest everything we could possibly offer with sincere apologiesThere was not anything else *** could of offered her and what the guest requested was delivered, a refundWe take all our complaints very seriously, especially regarding food safetyIf the guest had stated she wanted the full amount back, we would have gladly refunded the amountWe are a buzy location and have many guests and always strive for their satisfaction and if there is an issue or complaint, we always ask the guests what they would like to happen so they will come back to us and continue their business with usI was the senior manager on duty that evening and prepared the food and examined the food when it was returned to usAnd witnessed my manager ***’s interaction with the guestI feel we offered everything we could to the guest with sincere apologiesI am concerned that it had led to this complaint because this is not how we handle business at allIf the guest would like a refund of $.51, we will gladly refund that amount with another sincere apology Thank you, Shawna M***
