complaint and I have previously spoken to the customer. The customer explained that her starter had failed and she had it replaced at another shop. She had these repairs completed before she spoke to me. I explained that my warranty was valid at my shop only and since she already had the repairs completed, there was nothing I could do. I explained if she had called me prior to completing the repair that we could have had a replacement part delivered to that repair shop since the part was purchased from a major chain store. She stated that she had the defective starter and I offered her a replacement starter. She wanted a cash reimbursement. I explained that the manufacturer who the warranty was with would not give a cash reimbursement only exchange the part. This was not acceptable by her. I explained she should have contacted me before repair was done but she did not feel she had to do that. I apologize for her inconvenience but she did not give me an opportunity to warranty the product. There is nothing further I can do. Sincerely, [redacted] Don' s Auto & Truck Service
