I have addressed the complaint the best I could and the consumers where the ones that gave the ok for the beams

my work and left. Weeks later, a farm near by was having a barn torn down. I stopped and inquired about the barn beams and yes they were for sale. I called the homeowners and asked if they were still interested in barn beams. They said they were very much interested. THEY ALSO CAME OUT AND LOOKED AT THE BEAMS AND SAID, YES, BUY THEM.# 3  As a friend, I had the barn razing crew help load up my truck with the beams and I delivered them AT NO CHARGE.# 4  One beam was some what bad and I was able to have it replaced. By this time winter had set in and I didn't have access to the replacement beam. When spring came, I WAS in contact with the homeowner. I told him that I was not physically able to return his beam and or help them install the beams. The beam that was replaced, is still there and he needed to bring his truck and trailer and pick it up. # 5  As for the beams, they are not for structural. Cosmetic maybe. And where does one find straight one hundred year old barn beam?

Review: Has worked well with us on previous projects. Now, however, our many attempts to contact him go unanswered. We paid over $800 dollars for 4 barn beams he was to install in our dinning room ceiling to stiffen the floor between the dinning room ceiling and the floor above. He told us that the beams were hand hewed; but upon delivery, it was obvious that the beams were rough sawed (a less valuable material). He has not delivered the fourth beam that we have already paid him for. We are also concerned the the beams are too bowed and twisted for the purpose of supporting and stiffening our floor. Currently we cannot use the dinning room and this has been the condition for almost a year now. He has not returned our phone calls, nor made any attempt to contact us. We are now left with a partially started project that needs to be resolved and completed.Desired Settlement: We need the carpenter to take back the beams and refund our money. Once that is remedied, we can hire a new contractor with correct materials and get the job completed.
