I appreciate Wesco Glass’ willingness to replace a broken window handle at my home. I had tried contacting another company before them & didn’t receive any help. I also appreciate their reliable service on time & service with a smile ??
Thank you Wesco Glass!
I will definitely contact you again for other window issues

We had Scott J and his workers come and put up a wall of mirrors in our basement for our daughter's dance studio. They showed up on time and it was during cover 19 and they wore masks and kept their distance from the home owners. Everything was done on time and without any issues. The mirrors look great and we are very happy with the work that they provided us. We will recommend them to our friends if they need any mirrors or similar work done.

I hope your daughters enjoy many years of dance in front of those mirrors. It was a pleasure meeting you and *** and look forward to serving as your glass company for many years to come

Excellent customer service and product! Replaced the glass in 4 of my windows beautiful job. Would highly recommend this company for anyone needing glass replacement for their house.

The mark of a great company is not only providing superior service when engaged but truly stepping up to the plate quickly to resolved issues when they appear. Wesco Glass has a fabulous staff from first contact with reception all the way to final installation. We had a specialty glass requirement and they stayed strong and reliable even when there were issues with supply. We would highly recommend them for any regular or specialty job.

Thank you ***. It was a pleasure working with you.

The reviews here don't surprise me and really just reinforces that all the negative reviews are true. Order a piece of glass that took longer than the quoted days of arrival, and I had to be the one who kept calling in to get a new update. Once the glass did arrive, they rescheduled with me twice, both times on the day of the appointment.
Then when the technician finally did come, he gives me completely unacceptable attitude by saying that I was not there at the location. I had always told them to call me 20-30 minutes ahead of time since I'm away at work, yet he gave me 15 minutes before he decided to shout at me on the phone. I have phone records with timestamps for proof, by the way. I told him I'd be there in another 10 minutes (so a total of 25 minutes) but when I arrived, he actually had already left.
The most ironic of all is that this technician is the owner of the company. Really just shows you how narrow-minded and how poorly run this company is when the owner of the company treats a customer this way.

MrCalled Wesco Glass to make an appointment to measure a broken window. We showed up at the described time in history it was not there. He repeatedly told my two technicians he was 10 minutes away. My two technicians waited more than an hour to measure his glass.

Mr *** paid a deposit for a window on August 21. We ordered the glass that day. It arrived a little over two weeks later. We made an appointment to install it. We are confirmed the appointment the night before and the morning of the appointment time. I gave him 90 minutes notice and then gave him 30 minutes notice. We showed up at the address as agreed. When I phoned him to see where he was he yelled at me and swore at me. So we left. He had been rude to my technicians he had been rude to my office staff and I was not gonna stand for it again. We dropped his glass off and he is left false claims on review sites. At least he did not call me a *** in THIS review.
Wesco Glass is an honest hard-working company and our A+ rating with the Revdex.com for 15 years proves it.

They Fixed my front window they came out the next day very professional service.

I phoned Wesco Port moody branch for a quote on some windows, they came that day and measured. I phoned back a few hours later for the quote and they replied that they would have a quote ready the next day...well no quote came and I phoned back and I left a message for that quote...well it's 3 days now and still no phone call no nothing... I can't see how this business will last.

I am not sure why I am just seeing this complaint for the first time now. Wesco Glass does take complaints very very seriously. I am terribly sorry that this gentleman had this experience with our company. Some Quotes can sometimes take longer than others as we are waiting on information from Glass providers.
I am not sure if that is the case for this particular gentleman but I do apologize profusely.I am not a manufacturer. We like to tell people that we should have a quote by the end of the next business day and have windows installed within two weeks unless there are custom circumstances.

Customer Response • Sep 29, 2020

I received an apology for trying to get my windows fixed almost a year later. I am pleased to see that in the Revdex.com community that complaints are reviewed by the company. However the response again rather late. This happened to me almost a year ago. My windows were broken during the cold winter and I really needed them to be fix ASAP.
I am glad to see a response with an apology. But this company by far is very very slow in my opinion.

My experience was very similar to the review of TV. So it is not one of a kind that Scott claims.
Wesco recently replaced 5 sealed units in my high-rise apartment windows, and I had issues with the billing, installation quality, and subsequent issue resolution. All on a simple half-day project.
Estimate: The initial estimate contains the sizes of the windows, but no cost per window or per drop from the roof. Scott told me initially that I needed 3 drops and a drop was $500 and that was the reason for the high cost. When the work was finished, I noticed that there had been 2 drops. When I asked for an adjustment to the final bill, I was told that I was charged for one drop and a drop was $150. Later in the day I was told that I was charged for one drop and a drop was $250. So I still do not know how many drops are in the estimate and how much a drop costs.
Quality: One of the newly installed sealed units was foggy from the outset and eventually had to be replaced several weeks later. When I wanted to withhold 10% of the payment until that was rectified, I was threatened with no warranty and a lien on my apartment.
Follow-up service: Scott was abrasive on the phone when I raised these issues. Thankfully, the office manager stepped in to sort things out.

I stand by my declaration that there is 1 in every crowd. We have thousands of successful jobs and satisfied customers.
Wesco Glass is an honest hard working company.
Ms *** was only charged for 1 drop. Her bill had initially been reduced and reduced further in attempt to satisfy a customer that approved a price before work was started.
I am pleased the office manager was able to sort things out.

I booked a job with Wesco Glass to swap out a glass pane with an insulated aluminum composite panel (needed to do this for the installation of a ductless air conditioner). The job was booked one month ahead of time. I told them that the job had to be done on that date because the air conditioning system would be installed on the following business workday. I confirmed 4 days in advance and also on the agreed to workday morning. They were supposed to come between noon and 2pm. At 12:30 I received a call that they couldn't come. I explained that was not an option and they had someone come at 3pm. The person said the job would take too long and he had to get to his family. To his credit he said that he would come on Sunday if another employee from the company couldn't come before that.

The owner Scott called back and said that they would have another employee come Sunday morning which they did. The job was quoted at approximately $250. The gentleman came Sunday morning, removed the glass and installed the panel. In removing the glass he broke the Starline window stops so he couldn't complete the work.

On Monday Scott the owner calls me up and says he has good news, they found replacement stops and it would cost me around $360 to install them. As I had no choice I agreed.

A gentleman came 40 minutes later and installed the stops but damaged the finish of the panel in the process. His first response was that the panel had been previously damaged which was not the case. He tried to clean it to no avail. Scott, the owner of Wesco, called me and asked for pictures. I provided them and his response was that they were not significant and that the contract indicates touch up may be needed after the work was done.

Inf act the contract does state that touch up to wood stops may be required but not the panel itself. I told Scott that he could not process the last half of the payment until the work was re-mediated. He said that he would not take responsibility and would put a lien on the property.

At the end of the day he billed the full amount on the credit card and took no responsibility for anything. I definitely do not recommend this company. They take no responsibility for their work and lack integrity.

Wesco Glass has an A+ rating now and always will. We pride ourselves on ACCURACY AVAILABILITY A SENSE OF PARTNERSHIP AND BEING FAST AND ON TIME. They say that there is ONE in every crowd. In this case it is about one in four thousand. This customers review is accurate for the most part. He booked a job a month in advance and due to unforeseen circumstances, the technician was unable to complete on that day so we made arrangements to complete 2 days later ON A SUNDAY! The glazing stops, a Starline window product, were damaged when removing. This is no fault of the technician. It can happen. It rarely does but happened in this case. There are so many products that replacing can become very difficult. We got lucky and found the right one right away. We are not a painting company, we are a glazing company. There was a scuff that cannot be seen from any further than one foot away. The pictures the customer sent me confirmed that we could not see the scuff at all. I was not going to make an additional trip to spray paint the customers own supplied panel. There was no negligence. Wesco Glass showed up on three separate occasions over 4 days. Admittedly we are understaffed and overbooked but we really tried to accommodate this particularly customer. All he asked for was a can of spray paint and I reiterate that we are not a painting company.

Someone was supposed to show up at my house between 10am and 12pm. I rearranged my very busy schedule to be here. No one came. I called at 12:10 and was told someone was on the way and that they were just about to call and tell me they were running late. Really? they didn't know they were running late until the END of my service window? Not likely.) No thank you. If workers can't show up for a quote, how can I expect them to show up to do the work when they say they will?

We were going to be exactly 25 minutes late for this person's assessment. It was the Wesco Glass's technicians first day on the job. He has 16 years experience but he missed informing this lady that he was going to be 25 minutes late. I am terribly sorry. I assure you that we receive on average more than 52 phone calls per day and try to get to everybody. this one was going to be 25 minutes late.
It is not good enough and we have learned from the experience. It is very important to communicate with the customer.
