Wescon Corp. of Conn. Reviews (4)

It is untrue that I ever told Wescon not to replace the stones on the wall I did not speak to Wescon until the following business day I also do not know where the 1,dollar figure came from I never asked for that amount I wish that Wescon simply offered to repair the wall from the start and this never got this point I appreciate that Wescon is willing to contribute 1,for the damage caused This does not cover the total expense but is a satisfactory compromiseThank you

The cement at issue was manufactured and delivered by Wescon Corp. of Conn, a Connecticut Corp. Wescon's sold concrete to a contractor ( not the party making the complaint) who was working for the homeowner. The contractor directed Weson's driver to take an alternate route to this site which resulted in the stone wall being hit. Immediately after hitting the stone wall Wescon's driver offered to put the rocks back in place. The homeowner refused the offer stating that he was going to file a claim because Wescon has Insurance. The homeowner first indicated he wanted 1000.00. he then increased his demand to 3200.00 and threatened to go to Channel 12 and the Revdex.com if Wescon did not resolve. Wescon's agreement with the contractor states that it is not liable for the damage if it is directed to deliver across the curb or property line. Wescon was so directed and was acting under the direction of the contractor. Wescon immediately agreed to replace the fallen rocks. The homeowner refused Wescon's offer. Not withstanding, Wescon is willing to contribute 1000.00 to the homeowner to defray cost of placing the stones.

I This is completely untrue.  The contractor they are referring to is my father in law.  He is not a contractor. Unfortunately, he does have an account at Wescon and we made the unfortunate decision to purchase cement from them.  This is very simple.  The Wescon driver caused damage to my property.  The Wescon truck hit my stone wall.  It is Wiscon's fault.  My father in law was not driving the truck or directing the truck.  They did not apologize, or offer any solution to me other than to go to [redacted] and rent a machine to fix it myself.  Why should I have to spend my own time and money to fix their mistake?  I also do not know how to operate the machines or know the first thing about setting and repairing and stone wall. The truck driver did put the small stones on the wall by hand but did not move the larger ones because they require special machine to move them.   This is well beyond the what is reasonable damage that could happen during a delivery.  I have stated many times that this is not about money.  It is about right and and wrong.  The Wescon driver admitted to hitting the wall and they won't even apologize for their actions.  In addition to not apologizing, they continue to accuse me of seeking financial gains.   I can't think of any situation where a company crashes one of their trucks into your personal property and it's acceptable.  I would be happy if Wescon repairs the wall to the way it was and apologizes and not collect single penny from them as long as my property is repaired.  Mr [redacted] would never let this happen.   I am extremely disappointed in the petty and childish response Wescon offered.  This is the typical response I have been dealing with.  They admit to destroying my property but continue to make excuses and try to pawn off the responsibility to someone else and accuse me of trying to get money.  I keep repeating that all I want is the wall repaired and apology but somehow that message is not clear to them. [redacted]
