July 18, 2016This customer purchased A *** New *** Convertible with 49,miles on August 27, Purchase price was $7,Our policy is 1-month or 1,miles however, we made an exception for this customerAt that time she was given a year or 12,mile limited
powertrain warranty (engine, transmission only)Copy of warranty is enclosed.The customer has been complaining of her car stalling and sometimes not startingWe brought the car in to our facility and our mechanics could not duplicate the problemWe did service the car at no cost to the customerShe continued to complain about this same problem.We then sent the car to *** *** dealership to have this problem diagnosedUpon their inspection they were also unable to duplicate the problemCopy of those records attached.Customer still displeasedSo, we sent the car to *** ** dealership*** *** on 02/17/stated they could NOT duplicate this problemOn June 28, 2016, we again sent the car to *** *** even though they could NOT duplicate this problem they made some recommendationsWe complied and paid $620.44, Invoice attached.At this time this customer, being worried about expiration of her warranty, complained about the same problemAs a courtesy to this customer we offered to take this car in trade and sell her a different carUnfortunately she is not able to obtain financing on another carHer car is currently in our service shop, The owner has been driving this car and has NOT been able to duplicate this problemWe did install a new alternator, as a precautionary measure.At this time, after driving this car for many miles, no one has experienced the problem the customer is complaining aboutAs mentioned above the warranty was for engine, transmission only and we made every effort beyond the warranty to satisfy her.We have paid for diagnostic and repairs at a ** dealership.Sincerely,David H

receive your letter dated Febraury regarding the sale of the *** *** to *** ***Over the past three months, West Chester AutoHaus made every effort to come to an agreement with ** *** ***Initially, the contract, dated 11/21/14, was signed by the customer (attached) and the deal was successfully submitted to the bank for financing at a safes price of $14,When ** *** went to inspect and register the vehicle with the State of Maryland, it didn’t pass inspectionWe offered to do the appropriate service and repairs at no cost to ensure the car would passHe accepted our offer and drove his car here for servicing on 12/19/To compensate ** *** for his troubles, West Chester AutoHaus renegotiated the price and discounted his vehicle $As a courtesy, we also purchased an extra key from *** *** West Chester which totaled $While we were servicing the *** ***, we printed a new retail contract (attached) with a reduced safes price of $14,to include the discount** *** willingly signed the new deal and we forwarded it to the bankUnfortunately, the resubmission was rejected by the financer because the 1st monthly payment didn’t match the original contractWe made the correction and mailed out the updated contract to ** *** on 1/5/After receiving the contract on 1/6/15, he refused to sign and return it.After repeated email and phone cal! attempts, we received a response from ** *** on 1/9/(attached) stating that he wanted to renegotiate and come to a new agreementWe replied the next morning and asked him to call us in order to reach an agreementHe followed up via email on 1/15/stating that he had no knowledge of the second approval (refer to attached 2nd contract with ** ***’s signature)Moreover, he wanted to settle on a reduced sales price of $13,As shown in the attached correspondence, we agreed to his offered sales price on 1/19/He replied later the same day retracting the offer on the 1/19/email attachmentOn 1/22/15, he sent another message (attached) offering us $11,for the vehicleWe declined this offer and ** *** continued to hold the vehicle without paying for it*** *** followed up on 2/10/with a counter offer of $12,On 2/17/(support is in the string of the 2/19/email attachment), we agreed to this offer and asked ** *** to send a check for $10,($12,000-deposit of $2,000) and we would consider the deal completeWe never received the $10,payment which he agreed upon on the 2/19/emailInstead, as shown on the attached email dated 2/27/15, he became more and more irrational and unreasonableWest Chester AutoHaus did everything in its power to comply with ***’s purchase of the *** ***.Sincerely,
