I'm not sure how to respond to this complaint, as we feel that we did everything we told the customer we would perform on his lawnI believe the biggest problem was a lack of patience, which I tried to share with *** when he called on 10/2/17, which was days from us performing the serviceHe
basically questioned everything we didHe said we did not aerate, beccause he didn't see the plugsI informed ***, that this was due to providing the aeration first, followed by overseeding, then slice seeding, which breaks up the plugs pulled by the aerator and helps cover the seedHe then proceeded to tell me we were only there 1/hour, so there was no way we could have done the workI informed him that we were there 11:17-12:with men and that we indeed did his serviceHe questioned my integrity at this point by pushing this senario, to which I took offense and told him that I am not a liar and I did not appreciate him questioning my integrityI did inform *** that I looked at his yard on 9/29/and was quite pleased to see germination already occurringI even pointed out different areas that where germination was occurringHe belittled everything I saidHe said we needed to come back out and do the work all over againI asked him to be patient as fescue generally takes weeks in good conditions to germinate, let alone establishedI feel as if he thought all his lawn issues should be resolved, weeks after the serviceHe said we didn't bring in top soilI said we did indeed and told him we added around the the fence, where bare, and filled all his divots, from where he had removed rocks or his dogs had been diggingHe said he was going to bring in a load of topsoil and do himselfI told him he had to do wht he felt was right, but that I thought he was making a mistake as he needed to give it a little timeWhen I went back out a couple weeks later, he had dump piles of soil around the yard and diminished what we had done in those areasI hope it has worked out for him, but I think he wasted our efforts as they were working, just not instantaneouslyI never went back out again since he had messed with the job we had done.I can show many places that we were quite successful in seeding this fall, where the service was perform after this job, so I hope he got the desired results he was looking to acheiveI have attached quote which he signed andit never called for any top soil, other than to fill divots$of topsoil, where we buy it, would be yards of soilThis place isn't far from him and could buy there as wellI did have a second conversation with ***, where he was fishing for a discountI told him I felt like we delivered all the services which we promised and didn't feel that we owed him a discount, he just needed to be patientI do not reme,ber having a third conversation with him.I don't recall some of the things he says we saidWe have been doing this service for years, so I am not new to slice seedingI did not know he was in *** ***, until this complaint, which makes no difference to meI never set up and appointment with him, to my knwledge, or I would have been there or called if I couldn't make it.I still feel we did everything correctlyHe did not give our work a fair chance to succeedWe can never guarantee results from seeding, as there are too many variables that we cannot controlHowever, based upon the results of other jobs we have done this fall, I believe he would have been a success if he had just been patient

It is very sad the owner (Gary) operates like this. People go to work and work hard everyday.  So  when they make a purchase, they expect  to get what they paid for. This company does not hold itself accountable. It's upsetting to see he can  put time into an email, but refused to come out and look at the lawn and correct what needed to be done. What kind of company would not come out to speak to a customer that spent almost 500.00?  I spent a lot of money for nothing! It leaves me to believe the company is having financial problems or just flat out could careless. At this point, I just hope Gary can live with himself. I don't have the conscious to treat people like he does. . Regards,
