Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me

My name is [redacted] and im the manager at west coast car audio. We tried our hardest on multiple occasions to please sally and her husband re-tinted the vehicle 3 times and they still were not satisfied with my tinters work. we tried to explain that there was a drying out process and other issues that...

she had but she wouldn't except our explenations and was a little rude to my sales person. we would never deny them service worked with their schedule and tried to please them but they were being a little unreasonable with us. if they have any more issues they can contact us or come by and we'd be more than happy to help them as best we could. but we have re-tinted the vehicle a few times and we cannot refund them as they requested

West coast car audio is addressing a complaint ID 12269290 that was submitted on 7/18/2017. this is a corresponding letter to resolve this dispute. we have reviewed  the following complaint information  and on 7/19/2017 [redacted] came in and we resolved this issue by upgrading her...

speakers for the cost of shipping and handling of $50.00 just for the inconvenienced caused , normally you would have to pay for the speakers and labor when upgrading because the labor and service has been rendered . our company policy states that there is a 30 day exchange warranty and a 1 year manufacturer's repair warranty .therefore we installed this product originally 2/26/2017 which is over the 30 day exchange period, as we mention to the customer previously. the $50.00 dollars does not cover even the cost of the speakers that we gave [redacted] nor the labor rendered once again . so we believe we did the best we could to take care of the customer . this is a professional corporation we want our customer to be fully satisfied . if there is anything else we can do please inform west coast managment thank you .  --

Company states: There was an issue about his headlights and the switch was not working. The repair was fixed and he was happy with it. The alarm trigger kept going off for the Ford Mustang and so we isolated it and got it to be fixed.

I am rejecting this response because:  I tried talking to them and they just don't budge. Just read their reviews and see that I'm not the only one that thinks this. They did retint my windows and they are still messed up and they even have two types of tint so from the inside of my car you can tell how horrible it looks. We took it to another tint shop where they too confirmed what a horrible job they did.  Why would I want to take my car back to some place that I obviously gave them the chance to fix and they didn't care to fix it?  I have my car as proof of how horrible it looks and even though we took it several times it still managed to get more horrible work done. I got upset the last time that I took it in because its ridiculous in how they treat you. They said that I was ungrateful! Seriously?

Review: I dont even know where to start. It is the west coast car audio on martin luther king bld in stockton ca. They are the worst people ever . They rip you off and give you the worst customer service. They do bad work on your car and you pay for it and they dont give you money back or even fix it. I took my car in multiple times to try and get the problem fixed and they continued to do a bad job and then they even said that I was ungrateful. If you just read the reviews on that place you will see. that place needs to be shut downDesired Settlement: I asked for some money back not even all of it and they refused. My husband payed 216

Business' Initial Response

I am responding on behalf of West Coast Car Audio , customer case number [redacted] we

recently promoted a sale we were clearance out product film we bad overstocked and wanted to offer to our customers at discounted low prices as incentive for them doing business with us . we also offered a free car audo system in a form of a raffle each customer Lhat purchased over a hundred dollars were entered with the chance to win several different small nexus and one big drawing item. The way it was

setup customers would leave there name and number and.. would be eructed in a raffle box to be

announced at the end of our sale no time frame was given to customers. Upon announcement we told all

customers, we would draw from the entry box and we would call the winners, to come in and claim the

prizes , "they did not have to be present to win these items. well [redacted] and his family stopped by to enter the raffle they did not want to purchase anything, an they wanted was to enter the raffle. We allowed`

them to enter even though they did not purchase anything, and I explained to them we would announce the winners the following day by phone or they could come in to see if they were winners. When the [redacted] family arrived while announcing the winners over the phone they became upset because, they were expecting the grand prize, we explained to them that someone else had won the grand prize but they were not satisfied and, that's why we are writing this letter to inform the Revdex.com what happened.

Since then we have tried to contact the [redacted] family and offered them some kind of free gift on behalf of West Coast Car audio, but the customers were not in compliance at all uth us and they only want the grand prize even though we already gave the winner the grand prize we are willing to offer them something else, to make them happy and we are willing to work vith them. We are a family oriented establishment and we want all of our customers to be happy with us.. If you have any questions please contact on this matter or any other matter any time 9-7 Monday threw Saturday XXXX-XXXX Ask for

[redacted] or [redacted] thank you for your time..

Consumer's Final Response

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)

they basically admit that what the ad said wasn't going on at all that's false advertisement!!! but they also claim they couldn't give us the grand prize because it was given away already thatsa wrong I am very unhappy with there response

Review: Dishonest sales practices, extremely poor customer service.

I went in with my wife and our 2yr old to have a DVD player and alarm system installed in my 2004 Toyota Sequoia. My car also had an old alarm system in it, but it wouldn't control the door locks. I worked with a guy named [redacted] to get $400 worth of financing to pay for the alarm and the DVD player. The DVD player was on sale for $179 and the alarm, a CompuStar CS700-A, was listed at $225 but he sold it to me for $165, including installation. The installation of the DVD player was another $100+

I checked, double checked and triple checked with [redacted] to ensure that this alarm system would lock/unlock the doors via the remote. He assured me that it would. I asked how long for the install, [redacted] told me "I'll need a couple of hours, but I'll put my fastest guy on it as soon as he gets back, which should be in about 30 minutes." OK, so we wait, and wait and wait... Finally, more than 2.5 hours later, [redacted] tells me "Oh, you need to spend another $100 for an Idatalink CANBUS module to make the door locks work" He shows me what is supposed to be the old door lock module from my old alarm system and tells me that they thought the new alarm would work with my old module. Didn't I say in the beginning that the old alarm didn't control the door locks? I took a picture of the module that [redacted] pulled from under the counter and said I needed.

At this point my 2yr old and my wife are getting tired and are really ready to go, so I tell [redacted] that I don't have the extra $100 bucks to spend right now. He replies with "Let me go and check with the installer to see how much of the alarm system will work without this module". He comes back to tell me that everything will work except for the door locks.. which was the whole point in getting a new alarm to begin with. I tell him to go ahead and complete the install and I'll be back for the module later. I ask again, how much longer it will be before they're done. [redacted] replies, "Oh he's almost done, just a little bit longer". Another hour plus passes and I ask again, how much longer. [redacted] tells me "He's finishing up right now". I look on security screen behind the counter to see my truck just sitting there with the key in the door!

Finally about 20 minutes later, they pull my car out. I go to put my son in his car seat and see that the "installer" has left wire clippings and pieces of plastic from the installation all over the seats and the floor. No one came out to say "here's how you use your alarm system" or "here are the features that come with this alarm". I finally call CompuStar, THE MANUFACTURER of the alarm system and tell them about my experience. The customer service tech tells me that in no way does a 2004 Toyota Sequoia require a CANBUS module for the door locks! He takes it a step further and looks up the unit that West Coast Car Audio said I needed, but the only thing IDatalink.com carries for my car is a module for remote starting the vehicle!

I contacted West Coast Car Audio again and spoke with [redacted] who told me he'd have [redacted], "the installer" call me back. I waited a day and called back. [redacted] gave me some story about how they were tied up in vendor training all day and that's why I didn't get a call back. A few hours later [redacted] from West Coast calls me back and begins to tell me how he was the one who worked on my car and that it needed the module the [redacted] showed me. I told him that the manufacturer said that was not the case and that we could call them to verify. I also told [redacted] that IDatalink doesn't make a module for my car. He said "The module that [redacted] showed you was just a module he pulled from behind the counter, that's not the one we were going to use" I asked why would he allow me to take a picture of it if it was the wrong one?

To make make matters worse, I found the exact same alarm system for $34.51 at Sears and $46.00 at Walmart!!Desired Settlement: I've found a reputable shop who will charge me $45 to correctly wire the security system. I'm only asking that they refund me the $45 and that the Revdex.com make them aware of my complaint. I don't trust them enough to take my car back to them to have them fix anything.

Review: Bought a blue tooth system for 2003 BMW and had it installed by this company and went by to pick my car up after installation and realized none of the lights, blinkers, fog lights, of trunk was working. In addition my car had a dent on front left bumper that was not there prior to it's overnight stay. Also, had a alarm installed on second car 2008 mustang which is not working correctly, it goes off every five minutes. Tried to remedy this situation with west coast audio for last (6) days by leaving my cars their overnight for repair, with no results. So far they have fixed the trunk, but the rest of car remains unfixed. The second car the BMW my girlfriend relies on for transportation to and from work. This has resulted in her lost wages and pain and anguish. During my attempt to remedy this situation with staff at shop, I was verbally insulted by one of the salesmen. My cost continues to rack up while my car (BMW) is not able to be driven.Desired Settlement: I want them to repair both cars and compensate me for all my losses pursuant to this matter.
