My name is [redacted] and im the manager at west coast car audioWe tried our hardest on multiple occasions to please sally and her husband re-tinted the vehicle times and they still were not satisfied with my tinters workwe tried to explain that there was a drying out process and other issues that she had but she wouldn't except our explenations and was a little rude to my sales personwe would never deny them service worked with their schedule and tried to please them but they were being a little unreasonable with usif they have any more issues they can contact us or come by and we'd be more than happy to help them as best we couldbut we have re-tinted the vehicle a few times and we cannot refund them as they requested

I am rejecting this response because: I tried talking to them and they just don't budgeJust read their reviews and see that I'm not the only one that thinks thisThey did retint my windows and they are still messed up and they even have two types of tint so from the inside of my car you can tell how horrible it looksWe took it to another tint shop where they too confirmed what a horrible job they did Why would I want to take my car back to some place that I obviously gave them the chance to fix and they didn't care to fix it? I have my car as proof of how horrible it looks and even though we took it several times it still managed to get more horrible work doneI got upset the last time that I took it in because its ridiculous in how they treat youThey said that I was ungrateful! Seriously?

Company states: There was an issue about his headlights and the switch was not workingThe repair was fixed and he was happy with itThe alarm trigger kept going off for the Ford Mustang and so we isolated it and got it to be fixed

I totally apologize for your concern and I am willing to take a look at your vehicleI am not sure what was done on your vehicle or what type of vehicle you have but we are willing to take a look at it and hopefully we can take care of it for youJust give us a call to set a date when you can
bring it over and I'll take a look at it Thank you and we apologize for the trouble

I guess I am just going to have the problem fixed on my own.  I just do not trust this company and the way they treated me.  I do not feel comfortable doing business with them.

Review: Recently took my car in for a sound system, after reviewing all the options available with an employee we decided on a certain high end product. After getting the product installed it blew out approximately 5 minutes after leaving their business. Upon returning I was informed that the product installed was not the high end one that I paid for. I gave them the opportunity to fix what they had done believing it was a minor mishap. I paid for those services as well, they did not offer to fix it "on the house". The 2nd time around the music worked great for two weeks until it blew out yet again and upon personal investigation they had caused severe damage to the lining of my trunk (where the sound system goes) and water damage is now a critical issue. At this point I was furious, I spoke with an employee on the phone about my problems and he said to bring the car in. They kept it for a day and when I arrived I was disappointed to hear that they would not do anything with my car and the system they installed and the damages were not they're fault.Desired Settlement: I would like the products that I paid for installed properly, with a no hassle repair if it malfunctions and repairs to the damage they caused. If for some reason the business feels as if this is not possible then I feel a full refund is necessary.

Review: Had stereo installed @ 7609 Fair Oaks Blvd, Carmichael location. Guy refused to hook up antenna & I only get 4 channels; left wires hanging out.

Guy gave me the runaround and would not answer me straight about what was the problem. He installed the stereo for "free" yet I was charged. Wires left hanging out; speaker shorted out; antenna not hooked up; shoddy install; front came off of dash kit; guy gave the car back to me with the backseat still out; said it got reception without antenna. It gets 4 channels only. Have taken it back repeatedly and keep being told to bring it back later he only has one guy doing installs. Then, as we sit there, he brings other cars in when people come in for installs. But he told us three times to come back he was too busy. He charged me for a wiring harness that was never used in the "free install". The stereo is priced at over twice what others sell it for with that, the part I was charged for and never received, and the incomplete, shoddy install (the guy kept telling me my car was a "pain in the [redacted]", but with all that, the install really was not "free". It is a 1986 Volvo 740 GLE sedan. Fixing it to send to my daughter at college. Three more cars were brought to the back for work (of people who just walked in, no appointment) while we sit here. We have been back 3 times and each time he tells us he is too busy to fix it. The night the install was done I was very upset that the antenna was not hooked up and he said "if you really want an antenna bring it back and I will do it for you". It gets only four channels. Of course, the car stereo needs an antenna. Desired Settlement: The entire $189.00 I spent in this shop refunded to me and an apology.

I would not go to the trouble and time to make this complaint if anything you have described is what actually happened. The backseat of my car was still out, wires were hanging out, and there was no antenna so I got just 4 channels. You did shoddy work and, the vehicle was brought back more than once and turned away each time. After being told you were "too busy" to look at the car, you took other customers immediately in. More than once. We were told at lunch hour to come back after work. Two days in a row. I would not go to all this trouble and time if anything you have said is true. I do not accept your response.

[redacted], we never nor will we ever do "shoddy" work, our labor is fully and lifetime warranty meaning if you ever have any issue with our labor your always welcome to bring the vehicle in. I don't recall you bring in your car back to us four times. I believe it was your nephew and/or kid that brought the car in ONE time and that day were busy. I told the gentlemen, we have a few car in the back that we are working on. I went on and gave him two options; one being stay in the store and till your number is called upon to check out your vehicle or two, we'll set you up an appointment, if you don't want to wait and we'll resolved the issue. After our conversation the gentlemen said he's making a phone call and will let me know and after he got off the phone, he rush in the car and drove off.

Review: Had a car alarm installed on my pickup. They put the automatic locks in the doors. When I got it back I noticed the upholstery on the doors was coming out of the seams by the bottom of the windows on both doors. It was not like that before. I went back to the shop and asked them to fix it. They denied that they did it; said it must have been like that already. I just purchased the truck in the spring and I know they were not like that. Since then I've gone to adjust my electric rear view mirrors and they do not work now. They also worked before I took my truck into this shop.Desired Settlement: I just would like to have the door upholstery fixed (maybe just needs to be glued down) and my electric rear view mirror control fixed.
