$20-$per square footIn addition, I quoted the difference between different decking productsAttached is also the estimate provided by Wes for the projectHe comes about $1k over my ballparkNot a significant differenceThis is why we never put the ballpark in writing and stress that it is 'site-unseen' ballpark. We charge $for an on-site consultation for a deck projectWe charge this fee because we offer much more than just coming out to tell you how much something may costWe provide design work if necessary, help the customer with product education/selectionProvide information on all aspects of the deck project when on site and within the comprehensive written proposal, which includes the auto cad drawing.Wes did contact Mr*** and answered his questions, but then never heard back from him.This is our first customer complaint in yearsWe pride ourselves in being a company that provides outstanding customer serviceWe go above and beyond to address our customers questions and exceed their expectationsIf we were a 'bait and switch' company and did 'deceptive advertising', I doubt we would still be around after years. $20-$22 per square foot. In addition, I quoted the difference between 2 different decking products. Attached is also the estimate provided by Wes for the project. He comes about $1k over my ballpark. Not a significant difference. This is why we never put the ballpark in writing and stress that it is 'site-unseen' ballpark. We charge $75 for an on-site consultation for a deck project. We charge this fee because we offer much more than just coming out to tell you how much something may cost. We provide design work if necessary, help the customer with product education/selection. Provide information on all aspects of the deck project when on site and within the comprehensive written proposal, which includes the auto cad drawing.Wes did contact Mr. [redacted] and answered his questions, but then never heard back from him.This is our first customer complaint in 25 years.
