West Coast Metropolitan Patrol Reviews (2)

Review: I am a "good standing tenant" at [redacted] Dr [redacted]. I received a phone call from my son [redacted] on April 30th informing that our local Patrol Company had towed my Land Rover Discovery that was legally parked with a visible hang tag registered to the leasing office. This vehicle was both operational and being used by me and my son. Upon calling the Patrol Company they have acknowledged in email that they saw the vehicle for over a couple of months, meaning they saw the Hang tag "otherwise they would have clearly towed it". I have asked for the vehicle to be returned from the towing company immediately that they vehicle should not have been towed. I have had neighbors that have acknowledged that the same patrol company has towed there vehicle even though a hang tag was visible. I am questioning the motivation the patrol service as to whether they are protecting the safety of our vehicles or towing cars unnecessarily. I have also informed them that there have been repeated break-ins of vehicles both in our complex and on the street for over the last month. I have contacted the tow company by saved emails asking for resolution and all I get back is they are justified in the towing of my vehicle. It seems like it is there word and they can do what they want. Yet I am a resident that has lived here for two years and have been in good standing. Finally the towing company has now notified me that they are going to sell my car in a lien sale!Desired Settlement: I want my vehicle back immediately without any cost to me!!!I will not pay for the towing and storage that is now $450 because of the Patrol Service illegally towing vehicle

Response:

Each resident is allowed no more that two vehicles on the property. Registering your vehicle with the office determines eligibility to receive a permit, it does not afford the right to park. If you own only one vehicle, you receive a carport or garage. If you own two or more vehicles, you receive one "hang style" permit to be displayed in the car of your choosing in the unassigned open parking. From my understanding, the resident has two vehicles and his son has one. The vehicle that was towed was being stored and no permit was on the vehicle. This vehicle was towed for no visible permit. The owner of the vehicle stated in his complaint that there was a visible permit which is not accurate. The owners' son came out during the impound process and was given an opportunity to have the vehicle released to him at no charge even though the tow company had already taken possession of the vehicle as long as he agreed to drive the vehicle off the property as it was parked illegally. The owners' son stated that he did not have the keys and the vehicle had a dead battery. The vehicle was therefore towed. The resident signed a parking rules agreement stating that he would follow the parking rules. The signs at the entrance of the property clearly list the parking rules and prohibit storing of vehicles and state vehicles require a valid permit be displayed at all times. WCMP has photos and video of the vehicle prior to the vehicle being towed showing the vehicle did not have a permit. Additionally, in an email WCMP received from the resident, he claims the permit may have been stolen previously as he says he found the vehicle opened on previous occasions. Now his statement is that the permit was present, despite the fact that we have evidence proving otherwise.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

Regards,

Review: I misplaced my parking permit hangtag, and was forced to order a replacement for fifty dollars. They customer service is horrible, with no quick response from the owner, [redacted]. After a few days I found my original hangtag. I was promised a refund, followed their instructions but have been given the runaround over the last week. Horrible, horrible company.Desired Settlement: for the amount of stress this company has put me through I'd like not only the first dollars back, but and additional five hundred dollars for lost sleep and anxiety.

Response:

I have not received any complaint by mail from the Revdex.com. Mr. [redacted] was issued a parking permit for the property he lives at. We provide parking management for this property and provide the permits. Mr. [redacted] notified us that he lost his permit and requested a replacement. As per his written agreement with us, there is a $50.00 replacement charge. Once payment was received, an office staff member processed the new permit and re-registered his vehicles in the system under the new permit. The vehicle was then driven 30 miles (one way) from our office to his residence and delivered.
