Review: First the frustration I have after celebrating my girll friends birthday with family and friends at the West Coast Tavern in San Diego. We were celebrating my girl friend birthday August 17, 2013 around 10:00pm- 1:00am with approx. 15 people when a female waiter hosting us was providing the services to everyone on the table with food and beverages after continuing ordering through the night and paying with cash and credit cards and leaving with an open tab. As everyone leaving few at a time. Me, my girl friend her cousin and her husband was the last persons from are table left, We continued ordeing drinks with the waiter. We decided to step away from the table for a couple minutes to dance on the floor approx 15 feet away. We come back to are table and are table was wiped clean are drinks and food was gone. So we ask the waiter why did she clean it if we were still here. She said it wasnt her after seeing he leaving from are table. We ask about are drinks and food she said she couldnt do anything about it! So I requested to speak to the manager. So I talk to the manager and he said that he couldnt do anything because we were not tipping her right and was not taking care of are waiter. I was so stunned about it to hear from a manager. My girl friends cousin still had her card open tab. I notice through the night before this happened when me asking for drinks and shots of hard liquor and me personally paying cash the female waiter was charging me $12. and tipping her a $1. each shot and after that a friend was asking for the same thing and charging him $13. So I ask the manager how much was a shot liquor of patron he said $9. so I told him why is your female waiter charging us $13. each liquor shot. I told him why is the waiter is ripping us of and charging so much and her saying we are not tipping her after all this BAD SERVICE!! The manager said he made a mistake and the shots were $13. THIS PLACE IS NOT BEING MANAGED. We will never come back again!! I hope no one goes through this!Desired Settlement: Refund the credit card that was used at the time and the cash I spent on the shots as well

The situation you described is not acceptable and we have taken steps to prevent this from ever happening again. This includes evaluating our auto gratuity policy for large parties and our unattended alcoholic beverage policy. Please accept my personal apology and let me know the amount of your bill so I can send you a refund. I hope you will give us another chance and will help me evaluate our new policies sometime in the near future. Again, I appreciate your feedback and I apologize your visit was not up to our standards.
