West Coastal Construction

Service was provided by West Coastal Construction and work performed at residence ***. Several issues of company disappearing during project, not there as stated in contract. Once project was complete, there is supposed to be an inspection performed by the City Of Marysville of the work provided by company. There were several violations, they never stayed around for inspections and I had to meet the inspectors several times at the project site. I held back $2000 until he came back to fix and inspections were complete as I am not able to sell the home as it is now with violations. He charged a "construction fee" which equaled to $8000 for his time with consultations and picking up supplies. He is not answering any emails, calls or texts. Clearly ignoring is obligation and his name is on the permits of the house so he is responsible for the work performed.

Sean has almost completed our remodel. He said he was done so we called for inspection. The inspector came out and for around 10 punchlist items that need to be done. He came out and did 1 or 2 of the items but now after several phone and text messages with no response. I dont know what to do. I need these items complete to get the certificate of occupancy. I told him weeks ago that I will pay him the final 2000.00 upon successful inspection. A couple items require me to pay for some material which I would be happy to do but he wont respond.

We wanted to have our kitchen remodeled and found West Coastal Construction on Craigslist. We contacted West Coastal Construction Inc. and the owner, Sean W, who came out and brought his designer to give us a bid. At that time he also gave us a bid to do ourt roof. He did the roof quickly and we wee very happy. We decided to hire his designer to do our kitchen which was a big mistake. It was to be a 3 day project and it has now been a Month and it is now still not complete. The designer was doing a horrible job as seen with the counter tops, sink and crown molding that he did do so I called Sean W as he had told me he was the contractor to come look at our kitchen. Sean agreed it was not to expectations and agreed that he would come and complete th kitchen himself. He showed up one day to start the backsplash and do some electrical work plus hhok up our water and gas as we had been eating out all this time. My husband paid him that day for the work to get finished plus he paid him $2700 for new appliances. Since that day Sean has not returned to finish the job. He has replied to some texts that he will be there the next day to finish but never showed and he never answers his phone anymore. We still have backsplash that needs finished, a corner cabinet that needs hung, all the door handles need to be put on the cabinets and outlet covers installed. We found out he never ordered the appliances so asked him to return the money to which he agreed but has yet to due.
