Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Contractor keeps referring to "spider cracks" on the exterior of my home This was not the only problem - though they keep referring to same The proposal makes specific references to more extensive stucco repairs However, it is "convenient" forthe contractor to ignore this Other contractors who have viewed my home have expressed their opinions that the prior work "was not done correctly" and that such work should last "more than a couple of years" I must agree Otherwise, a homeowner would be required to spend thousands of dollars in repairs every 2-years.I am not going to continue to argue and e-mail back and forth in reply to this contractor's responses I will never be convinced that its quality of workmanship was commensurate with what I paid or that the outcome was appropriate. As an aside, not long after the job was completed and the contractor was paid in full, I received a letter from its supplier stating that contractor had not paid it for materials purchased that were used on my home Supplier was threatening to placea lien on my home if it was not paid As a result, I then had the hassle of rectifying this problem which was in no way created by me - it was exclusively the fault of the contractor.Bottom line: I will never use this contractor again, would never recommend them, and fully regret having contracted with them originally. If contractor continues to respond, please use my above response to answer any and all future responses to contractor.Thank you Regards, [redacted] [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, the consumer must give a reason why they are rejecting the responseIf the consumer does not provide a reason if he complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved]

I am rejecting this response because:Contractor keeps referring to "spider cracks" on the exterior of my home.  This was not the only problem - though they keep referring to same.  The proposal makes specific references to more extensive stucco repairs.  However, it is "convenient" forthe contractor to ignore this.  Other contractors who have viewed my home have expressed their opinions that the prior work "was not done correctly" and that such work should last "more than a couple of years".  I must agree.  Otherwise, a homeowner would be required to spend thousands of dollars in repairs every 2-3 years.I am not going to continue to argue and e-mail back and forth in reply to this contractor's responses.  I will never be convinced that its quality of workmanship was commensurate with what I paid or that the outcome was appropriate. As an aside, not long after the job was completed and the contractor was paid in full, I received a letter from its supplier stating that contractor had not paid it for materials purchased that were used on my home.  Supplier was threatening to placea lien on my home if it was not paid.  As a result, I then had the hassle of rectifying this problem which was in no way created by me - it was exclusively the fault of the contractor.Bottom line:  I will never use this contractor again, would never recommend them, and fully regret having contracted with them originally. If contractor continues to respond, please use my above response to answer any and all future responses to contractor.Thank you.

01/15/2016 To: Revdex.com 7007 Jefferson St NE Ste. A Albuquerque, NM 87109 Tel: ###-###-#### Fax: ###-###-#### Re: ID#[redacted] On our proposal (attached) it Excludes: spider cracks due to house settling. This means we excluded that because this house will get more spider cracks due to house settling, again we did not build the home and we did not install the wire for the stucco (which is the cause of all the spidering in stucco) we only repaired the bands which are the design feature of the stucco. I am pretty sure that the bands we fixed are still intact. The rest of the bands on the house that were not done by CD General Contractors might need repair but at the time that we fixed the ones we did the others didn't need repair(once again this is due to stucco done incorrectly to begin with). We only fixed the bands and painted the whole house. Ms. [redacted] keeps saying that other contractors think otherwise, and we agree just as we told her when we did the project the stucco was done incorrectly from the start not by CD General Contractors and that was the cause of the spidering and she will continue to get spidering until the whole house has stucco completely removed and re-stucco correctly. But our work was done correctly. Again we still have not been able to see what damages or work Ms. [redacted] is referring too because we have not gone to her home due to her declining, so at this point for all we know her complaint can be on work not done by CD General Contractors. As far as the Lien from our supplier to Ms. [redacted], It is New Mexico state law that the contractor give the address to job location at where material will be installed, the supplier has to send the customer a letter stating what can be done if the contractor does not pay and the top of the letter states this is not a lien, Ms. [redacted] thought it was and took it to another extent and called our Supplier asked if they had received payment and Supplier said no, so customer put stop payment on her check to CD General Contractors and told us that she wouldn't pay us until this Supplier was paid (her not knowing the terms of our account). So it wasn't that they were putting a lien on her home, it was just the standard letter sent to everybody. If you have any questions please contact us at ###-###-####.
