I brought the car that was on the website with a 3-month mile warranty on it I knew nothing about an extended warranty and the day I took the car home the check engine light came came on immediately let them know that the check engine light came on and the car had a minor hesitation they made an attempt for me to bring it up there to get it looked at but I was working at that time the next time I try to make an appointment he said he had a rental that I could use while I'm at work then he sold the rental car so I had no way to get to work after that he said his mechanic would look at the car on a Tuesday I told him I would bring it on a Wednesday then he said his mechanic was working on another car which was a lie because he said his mechanic did not come back from vacation until Tuesday and it was Monday when we talked so he lied to me then he told me after all our conversations and failed attempts to never to call him or text him again and now the car is running worse .I never fixed or did anything major to the car but put a little piece of rubber on it that was electrical tape up when I brought it it's okay one minute to do he knew that I'd put that part on it and he told me after that that it was a vacuum leak that was wrong with the car and he had a mechanic that could look at it and fix it which never happened
the car was running bad the day I brought it home

At this point I want to have nothing to do with this merchant they can keep the car and I would like a refund or if they want to keep the deposit and the car and just be done with it at this point I will take that as a option. I will never do business's with them again or refer anyone to them because of the horrible customer experience I had with them

Review: July 24, 2013 I was contacted by [redacted] at West End Auto. She stated that the car that I had been looking for previously was now back on the lot and ready to be sold. When I arrived I saw the car. I asked a friend to give it a look over while I discussed numbers. About 15 minutes into the meet I explained that I must drive the car before I move any further. On the test drive I heard a slight noise in the front left area. It was no major concern due to the fact that [redacted] had explained that the car had new tires. I believed that the tires just had not had a chance to wear. When I returned I discussed all my concerns about the vehicle with [redacted]. There was a representative there from the bank assisting [redacted] and [redacted] wanted to get the paper work started while she was there. The following promises were made and witnessed by my friend. A current inspection!!! , repair of driver side mirror, two cracks in windshield, small dent on back end driver side, driver headrest wouldnt go down, oil change code displayed and alignment of tires. [redacted] said go on take it today we can get those things worked out later. I drove the car home that evening. Before I arrived home the front left side was making a whining, clucking noise esp. when turned left. I called him the next morning and explained what the car was doing. He seemed immediately agitated and was quick to say as is no warranty. After I explained that it hadnt even been inspected and I agreed to the later repairs because I trusted him he instructed me to bring car back immediately to do inspection, tire alignment, oil change, mirror repair (from [redacted]) and check funny noise. Gave it to him on Thursday morning. I was promised return of vehicle on Friday. Friday I contacted Dealer board and was given proper procedure for filing a complaint and was instructed to try and work it out with dealer first and if no other recourse contact the board for help. Friday came 5 pm no car. I called to inquire. [redacted] told me that the car did not pass due to driver mirror, and that it did need alignment all four wheels were off and that the iol had been changed. I was told it would be ready Monday morning. Monday morning came no car. Called [redacted] and text [redacted] asked him if car was ready and if oil change and noise had been resolved he said yes! He called me at 4:445 and said car is ready for pick up from inspection station. Picked up car 5 pm. Drove two blocks and noticed the noise and weird feeling still there. Called [redacted] he said that well the car passed inspection so it must be okay. Went home drove the car over weekend. [redacted] called me Saturday about car paper work I bought it to his attention that he sold me a car that was not inspected, he sold a car that has been deemed a serious danger by the Va State Police, had no buyers guide any where or in or around vehicle and forged my name on title reassignment application. He got flustered and said he would call me back. Monday morning called [redacted] from local mechanic and asked him if if was ok to let him take a look. Mechanic saw that Ball joint was busted form outside viewing. Mechanic said that oil had not been changed. Called [redacted] on speaker phone. When asked about oil change he stated I changed it myself [redacted] I just didnt change the filter. When told about noise he said If I wanted a new car I should of gone to a new lot. Contacted the lien holder and was told that [redacted] could cancel sale. Contacted state trooper about bad inspection placed on car. [redacted] said that he could not take car back until I receive state trooper paperwork. I explained at that time that the trooper must submit and have approved and that the process could take a couple of weeks. I also shared with him the troopers name and contact information for any questions he may have until then. I talked with him in a effort to rectify this issue. But he seems determined to keep my money. Then he switched up and said that he could fix it. This car should not have been sold to be with no inspection and a serious mechanical defect that could of possibly hurt or killed my self or god forbid someone else. Took car back to [redacted] on August 5, 2013 for repair of noise and oil change. Oh and I was asked to sign that title reassignment paper that he had previously signed in my absence. It had the date of July 24, 2013 on it. I crossed out incorrect date and wrote August 5, 2013. Car was promised 6pm. Received call at 5:30 car wont be ready until 10 am and Wednesday August 5, 2013 and that the mechanic didnt see a thing wrong. If my personal mechanic saw a issue and the state police mechanic saw and confirmed the same issue why cant they see it? I dont trust West End Auto or [redacted] and want my money back. Out of the twelve days Ive owned this vehicle its in for repair/review three times an9 days and Ive only had it 3. [redacted] is still trying to get the vehicle in saleable conciliation. Ive given him reasonable time and opportunities to fix it. I am asking that my deposit of $2500.00 be returned, contract broken and vehicle returned. The dealer rushed me up and misapprehended that vehicle to me. It was presented as a inspected vehicle ready to be sold. It was far from that. Please help.Desired Settlement: Return of Vehicle, return of $2500.00 deposit and cancellation of contract.

Review: I came to West End Auto Sales, because I was in need of a car. Some one had referred me to go there and said they were a very helpful place to go. I went up there and found a [redacted], they stated they did in house financing which is what I needed since I only had a deposit of $1,000 I could put down. I purchased the car signed the contract and left. A little less than four days later the car stalled out on me on my way to work. My parents took my up to the dealership and we explained what had happened. They stated they would pick up the car and get it checked out to see what was wrong with it. They gave me a loaner car to use while they figured out the issue with the car that they sold me. I called the dealership multiple times to have a update, with no response. I had the loaner car for 4 days as well and while I was driving the car home from work, the front rim split in half while I was driving. This was the second car they had put me in to drive that had something wrong with it. I called them again to tell them about what happened and they started accusing me of all the problems on both cars saying that it was my fault for the problems, and they stated they were not going to fix my [redacted] and I needed to bring the loaner car back as soon as possible. The next day I brought back the loaner back, and sat down with the sales person and he then stated he would be willing to fix my [redacted], but I would not be able to have another loaner car. They said it would take a week to fix my [redacted], and that it needed a new engine. So a week went by and I called and left many voicemails with no calls back, til I finally called on another phone number and they picked up and said after a week that they got the wrong engine and they needed to get a different one, they stated it would take another week. At this point I was frustrated I knew they were starting to give me the run around about the car, and they probably were lying about helping me. So I continued to wait another week with out my car or a loaner car to get me too and from work. After many more calls and voicemails. I was finally able to get a hold of them about a update on my car and they stated that they would not be fixing the [redacted] unless I gave them $2,300 up front after they said they would fix it for less and I would have to continue to make the car payments as normal. They said I had another option, which was to put $1,800 up front for another car and still have to pay for the [redacted] that is not only not usable but that they aren't fixing. I feel like West End Auto sales was aware that the car they were selling me was defective, and that after I found out they were not going to fix it but going to give me a run around until there was nothing I could do. They have misrepresented there cars to me, and they are just trying to get my money for nothing.Desired Settlement: That I have a full refund of my deposit, and they keep the [redacted]. Or they fix the blazer at no cost to me, that they fix every problem wrong with the car, and they fix the lemon they sold me, and I will continue to make payments on the car to them.

The offers you claim to have made are not helpful in resolving this claim, I think you did this intentionally to take advantage of a young girl who was in need and now you are just trying to take my money even more. I am sticking with my resolution as stated on my claim form given to you. I would like a refund of my deposit , or the car needs to be fixed and I will make the payments on the car. You have had the vehicle in your possession for almost a month, stating to me you were fixing it and you lied. Please review this claim again. And see if we can come up with a agreement on how to resolve this issue.
