Dear Revdex.com Representative,We reviewed *** *** history on her vehicles, in she was giver a customer satisfaction offer of $credit towards purchasing a new vehicle at West German BMWCustomer decided to purchase a vehicle (*** miles) at another BMW dealer, and had a tremor
complaint since purchase at another dealerCustomer authorized the alignment and wheel replacements on her vehicle before the work was doneIf customer felt she had an existing problem from purchase (*** BMW) she should have brought the vehicle back to the purchasing dealer instead of approving the repairsEvery BMW dealer is independently ownedHer complaint should really be directed to the selling dealer *** BMW and not West GermanPlease let me know if you have any further questions, or copies of any approved invoices.Sincerely,Richard L.Service Director

I am currently in the market for a fully electric vehicle as I feel it fits my current lifestyle, and after much spending a tremendous amount of time reviewing EV's that are currently offered on the market I chose to look into the BMW i(BEV) So, upon doing some research on BMWUSA.com I saw that they're offering an iExtended Test Drive to customers to see if the vehicle fits their lifestyle I soon reached out to West German BMW OF Fort Washington, PA and was extended an invite from one of their Business Development Associates who told me that they are taking part in the program and the employee was very eager to set a time for me to come in so that I could borrow the vehicle Over the three days following many text messages and emails were exchanged to verify what I would need upon arrival so that I could take part in the iExtended Test DriveI cleared my schedule and decided to make the hour minute trip to the dealer expecting to leave my current vehicle and have the ias a loaner as I had been promised for several days by the aforementioned Business Development employee Upon arrival I summoned the salesperson whom I was directed to by the business development employee, ,introduced myself and told them how eager I was to experience the extended test drive and how I'd been in communication with them orchestrating all the necessities so that everything went smoothly Well, first the sales employee tells me that I can take the car for a test drive, and I tell him that I am interested in the extended test drive (as advertised on BMWUSA.COM) and he tells me that he needs to verify whether they are participating in the extended test drive program, which I was told several times was the case After about 2-minutes the salesperson comes back and gives me his spiel about a ton of facts that were completely irrelevant and I could care less about, until I had to ask him directly whether I will have the car for the extended test drive He then tells me they are not taking part in the program, and I soon after left the showroom very upset and extremely displeased with the fact I took the time out of my day to visit West German BMW for the extended drive promo to be told that the dealer does not participateI feel misleading and I want to make sure that colleagues, family, friends, colleagues and the public as a whole steers clear of this establishmentAlso, upon leaving I emailed the Business Development employee to let her know what had just unfolded After telling her how incensed I was, she replies to my email telling me that the salesperson told her that he offered me the extended test drive and that I refused, which was absolutely false I let her know that this was not the case and why in the world would I go hour and minutes out of my way to turn down an offer whig I was extremely excited to accept This whole experience has made me have second thoughts about the entire BMW ownership experience My father has been a loyal BMW owner, enthusiast and car club member for as long as I can remember and to have something like this unfold in what's supposed to be a professional environment makes me feel that not only the dealer, but the brand as an entirety is losing it way If you want a pleasant car buying experience you should certainly avoid this dealership

Dear Revdex.com Representative,I have reviewed the customers compliant, her service history at WG, and have spoken and emailed *** *** before this complaint was receivedWe have done nothing but given honest and excellent ServiceWe have been up front and very clear of what we repaired and what
was recommendedMy entire team, including myself, our service advisor, our assistant manager, and shop foreman have been involved and nothing but professional with *** ***I have attached the invoices for what we recommended and repaired on her vehicle and I feel they speak for themselvesIt is unfortunate that *** *** has a year old vehicle with aproxmiles on it, that has multiple issues and will be expensive to repair. The last time I communicated with *** *** (3-23-15), I offered her a discounted price to repair/replace the water pump issue, just to try to assist her in any way I canI also explained that this repair will not resolve all the other issues that have been noted and recommendedPlease let me know if any more information is needed.Thank You,Service & Parts Director

Dear Revdex.com Representative, *** *** had this vehicle towed to West German BMW on 6/23/with issues unrelated to each other Issues were as follows: Transmission issue (not recall related) Break Booster Recall Passenger Seat Mat Recall Customer was quoted
and approved a $diagnosis for the transmission issue After diagnosis, we found a transmission fluid leak from the Trans pan and sleeves The leaks needed to be repaired before we could go any further with the transmission diagnoses At that time the customer was told if the transmission lost most of its fluid there may be internal transmission damage but the leaks would have to be repaired to continue Customer approved the repair of $1,After repairing the leaks and having full pressure back, it was apparent the transmission has internal damage and the customer was quoted a price to replace the transmission As far as the recalls, both parts were replaced but programming could not be completed with the Seat Mat recall because the vehicle has the incorrect and defective power module and HKL module which prevented us from completing the recall These would need to be resolved before the recalls can be completed The actual recalls are at no charge to the customers but there would be cost involved to replace the modules. Our recommendation is for the *** *** to not invest any more money in this vehicle because the cost of repairs exceeds the value of the vehicle Any questions please contact Richard L at *** x *** or ***@westgermanbmw.com.Thank you,Richard LService Director

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the response. If no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:Regards,[redacted] I would like to take my car to another machanic for a second opion. I strongly believe that I dont need a water pump and I am still having oil leakage that I took it in for and supposly was to be fixed. I believe this that I was taken advantage of and didnt even need to also have a antifreeze leak fixed. I am very dissatified with this company.
