I have had to contact Brian on several occassions to fix my furnace, work on my hot water heater and plumbing issues.
Never had any bad experiences with West Heating & Cooling! He is always courteous, professional and knows what he is doing.

+1

I hired West heating and Cooling to fix a air conditioning problem which he did.At that time I asked if he knew a plumber. he told me he was a licensed plumber also. I had him look at plumbing down our lower level in the bathroom. He would have to take out a wall and repair some leaks and replace a sewer agitator pump motor. We also discussed putting a water filtration or softening system in and removing hot water tank and going to a hot water on demand product.
To make a long story short what this company came in tore out walls, claimed to have fixed plumbing leaks that did not stop leaks and started leaking again. I was told by him that he put in a new agitator pump which I paid for and was not put in which he said he did. He cleaned up the old one.I paid for a new water softening system which I never received, charged me for labor that was false. Said he would fix some electical that I paid for that was never done. He did bring by the on demand hot water system. I have not received invoices to know what material was purchased which I requested numerous times. This company fraudulently took from me over $4,200 and did not complete anything that he was to do.I have had to hire a different plumbing company that can verify what was not done or done in a very unprofessional and incomplete way.
If this man was a licensed plumber I am a brain surgeon. I also had to have a wash machine repair man come in because the wash machine would not work because this so called plumber disconnected the water lines and when he reconnected the lines he put hot on cold and cold on hot, which cost me $100.00 service call.
I have disputed my payments to him with the credit card company in hopes they can resolve.
Anyone that uses this company beware.

We were called to this residence to service an AC Unit we hand installed a few years prior. Upon our fixing the AC, the homeowner mentioned a remodel of the downstairs bathroom. We were taken downstairs and shown the area and offered a bid to take on the project. We then started to take down walls and found 7 leaks in very old copper piping along with the sewer agitator pump had a few blades rusted off the fan. I told them I would install a new pump but found that I could refurbish the old one to save them money. A new one would of cost 2 times what they were charged to.resurbish the old one. We went to fix the leaks in the piping and could not find a Main water shut off. We were able to shut it off at the appliances inside the house to solder up the leaks until the water could be shut off at the main to then replace the pipes. We called Osage Beach city and they scheduled to come out in two days then failed to show. Theu als ok purchased a Tankless Water heater and softener system. The Heater could not be replaced unless the main was off as well. We took the product xt to the residence to later be installed but the softner was on back order. In the mean time the labor they claim they claim was not done is false. We spent 3 days there taking down the old shower, getting to and removing the sewer pump, rebuilding the pump, taking down two walls, soldering 7 leaks (that did not leak when we left) taking up the flooring and cleaning afterwards....still waiting on the water shutoff one of rhe homeowners came home ( had been staying elawhere) on a Friday evening. Thursday would of been the day we soldiers all the leaks. She sent a text that Saturday night saying he basement was flooded. We offered to come out then and were told to wait til morning. The next morning we went to the residence and found the leak they sprung 2.5 days after we had last been there and it was in another oldjoint, NOT ONE we had fixed. But we were told by the homeowners to fix the leak and bring the softner rhey were hiring f someone else...the softener was still kn backorder..they are disputing $2,800.00 back for labor and the water softner. we have agreed to pay them back the $1,800.00 charged for the softner since they did not receive it but the charge for the labor on the invoice in particular was t in e remainder of a balance owed for a precious invoice in which wascompleted. Hired ***, of *** Heating and cooling, to repair air conditioning. This included replacing an A-Coil in the HVAC unit. After installation, the AC failed within 24 hours. I called Mr. to request him to come out to look at it. He indicated he would be out. After two days of waiting, we never saw him or received a phone call. As we are weekenders at the lake, we returned home. where again I tried to contact Mr. with no success. I returned to the lake house the next week, and was finally able to talk to Mr.. He indicated "I sent a crew out to recharge the freon". He told me to try it again. I turned on the AC and it appeared to be working. However the AC failed after four hours of operation. I removed the HVAC cover and noted the A-Coil was frozen over. I also noted the A-Coil did not fit the HVAC unit as the one that was removed. The A-Coil Mr. installed took up all the space, including the space where the air filter should be. I attempted to contact Mr. several times, finally reaching him next evening. He indicated he was "going to grab some dinner, then I'll be out or call you". He had indicated he may be out that evening, or first thing the next morning. After 2 hours I attempted to call him again, but was only able to leave a voice mail. I also sent him a text message. I did the same the next morning, but never heard from him again. Note, we had been having issues with the AC since early June. We have spent $5600 with Mr., and still do not have a working AC. At this point, I am hiring another AC contractor to hopefully resolve our issues, since Mr. appears to have no interest in making things right. I know the equipment he installed is not correct for our home and the HVAC system in place. Also, the workmanship looks highly unprofessional.

After *** contacted me, I went to his place to see what was going on. No one was home, I tried calling and no answer. I waited about 30mins and left because I could not gain access to the unit or the owner and I am located 45 miles away from his residence. I sent my hired hand out the next day and he charged the unit. It was working when the hired hand left the residence. *** called again and stated the AC quit after 4 hours and I told him I would be there as soon as I finished supper. He made the remark, "Well, I'll just have someone else come out and look at it!" I said "Okay, ***, if you feel you need to" and hung up the phone. I took the remark as kindly telling me he was going to hire someone else, not to come back. In regards to the statement *** made about the ACoil "not fitting the HVAC Unit"- the one I installed is the same exact size as the one I removed. *** had not mentioned his concerns about this matter to me prior to reading it in this complaint. *** stated he had paid $5,600 and that is incorrect...I have attached the Invoice to this email as proof of the correct amount paid by him. If you have any more questions please feel free to contact my office.

He come out to put an air conditioning in a couple weeks ago. He did not put all the parts in. He also installed a 2 ton but he was supposed to installed a 2 ton. It didn't cool at all. We paid him $2850 for the work. We called him about the issues and he said he would come out that night to look at it, but I never heard from him. He also stated one of his employees hurt his back and he wanted my insurance information. I did not give it to him. We had to have another company out and replace it all and had to pay them $5970. We were without air for about 5 days, and he also he put the wrong compressor in.

I was called the evening of Wednesday, May 9, 2018, by this customer stating that their electric bill was extremely high. I visited the residence and determined the unit was 25+ years old and 10 seer and that was causing the outrageous bill. The units today are between 13 and 16seer. I explained to them that I could install a brand new one or that I had a used 13seer I would install at a lower rate with a two (2) year warranty on all parts. They chose to have the used one installed.

I returned the next morning to remove the old unit and replace it with a used one I supplied. I then noticed the heating strip had gone bad in the furnace but didn't have the correct sensors and would return the next day around 3pm to fix those. I had a setback in time but my wife contacted the customer and informed her that we would be there but were running a touch behind. Upon examination, the heating sensors had gone and so I replaced them. Two (2) new and two (2) used. This solved the problem, I double checked to make sure the unit was cooling at the appropriate temperature, and when it was, I returned home.

On the morning of May 12, 2018, this customer had tried calling around 6:30am and my wife returned her call approximately 7:30am that morning as I was out on a call. The customer was extremely hateful stating that she had called three (3) times the night before and no one answered nor called her back. She also stated that she put a "Stop-Payment Order" on the check she had written the evening before for the service call and heating sensors. She stated that she believed she was being "duped" and wanted her money back and that I could have my unit. I offered to replace it with a brand new one at no extra cost but she was not in compliance. When she chose to purchase a used unit I explained it may last 20 years or may last a day and gave her the 2 yr warranty. She understood this and chose it due to the lower price. I explained to her that the unit was working correctly and tested it to make sure. This customer was very in compliant and rude from the day I initially made contact with her. I returned twice to find the unit still working properly.
