RE: Revdex.com Complaint ID-[redacted]Ms. [redacted],I am writing this letter in response to complaint ID-[redacted], received by us on October 20,2015.I have spoken to the customer concerning their complaint. The customer sold us their 2011 Chevy Camaro through the Autotrader Trade In Marketplace website. Through...

the website customers can input information about their vehicle and it will give them an estimate of what Autotrader or certain dealers will give them for their vehicle. The customer can then come into on of the buying center dealers to have a condition report done on the vehicle and sell it if they wish. The vehicle must be gone over, and any imperfections must be noted on the Autotrader website. The dealer can then buy the vehicle and if they don’t want it Autotrader will buy it Autotrader will do the same inspection as the dealer does if the dealer does not want the vehicle. When we inspected the vehicle we light scratches on the drives and passenger door that were not noted on the customers description of the vehicle. We also noted two front tires that needed replaced and on rear tire that was less than 50% tread. The customer only noted two front tires under 50% tread. Once we put this information into the website the value of the vehicle was adjusted. The customer agreed to the value and sold us the vehicle,I spoke to the customer and explained the process to him and that if Autotrader buys the vehicle from us they do the same inspection as we do to confirm condition and value. I asked the customer if there was anything I could do as a goodwill jesture, and he said no.If there is anything I can do to be of further assistance I can be contacted at ###-###-####.Thank you,Larry K[redacted] General Manager West Hills Nissan

Review: During negotiations and paperwork, I was informaed the certified pre-owned vehicle I was purchasing was a special edition costing a difference of $1800-3000. I found later on that the vehicle was not special edition. This is Krom version which should have dual chrome exhaust, chrome plating, chrome stering wheel, Bose stereo, audio controls on the stering wheel and more. I didn't realize all what was included in the special edition, I was more happy with the purchase finding out it was special edition. The the sale man, [redacted], and finance Manager [redacted] told me it was Krom Edition! The sales contract and car fax say it is Krom, Nissan North America verified it is not and it does not have any of the features. I spoke with the finance manager and at first he tried to put it off as nothing, then he in turn looked up the price difference and found just under $1800 difference. Since the first week I have had this car to the shop for other repairs that should not have been, multitudes of rocks in the suspension, wheel arms and inbetween the brake line and coil, heat sheild clamp, rust that was not visible until 2nd week, and I still feel it has mechanical issues, it grabs sometimes like I have hit the brakes and just jolts you, and has a very bad miss in it.. I spoke with [redacted] GM for WHN,on the advise of a PA attorney, who felt I had good cause, and he said, did you drive it? Did you look at it? Sorry for a typo and for sales/finance saying it was special edition, nothing I can do!! This is a violation of the Unfair Trade Practices Act, as they sold me something that should have a higher value, and it is not the car I was told I got or that the paperwork stated I got! Also, they messed up the paperwork for the title and I had expired tags for nearly 2 weeks!! They also ran hard credit inquiries 2 times without my permission and I am trying to get my score up and these inquiries hurt your score!Desired Settlement: If initially done I would have requested $2k for the difference in price between Krom and not Krom, but now they have been so unhelpfuland degrading as if I know nothing because I am a woman I feel they should give me $3-5k for the difference and for all of the stress they put me through. I dont feel the vehicle is mechanically sound and they should honestly just trade up to another vehicle for the same price.
