West Jersey Hospital Virtua

Review: I was admitted in of & on starting in 10/2012 ending in 12/2012 for [redacted]. Each time I was released, I was back within 1 day to a week & was readmitted. Surgery was scheduled 4 times but was cancelled everytime by the surgeon (he wasn't impressed by my [redacted]. After my last release, symptoms continued so I went to another hospital & presented all the paper work form Virtua. This hospital did the surgery right away & even questioned as to why I didn' t have it done while in Virtua. I told them the surgeon "wasn't impressed"...they said they were "VERY impressed". Since the I have been feeling great. Virtua billed me a copay of $480.00.(which was originally $600.00 but they "gave me a discount since I was admitted so many times"...their words not mine!), which I paid. Six - eight months later they sent me another co-pay for $750.00 for one of the times I was admitted. I don't think I should have to pay this second co-pay since I was admitted ....EVERY TIME....FOR THE SAME CONDITION....[redacted]. Had they done the surgery when I was first admitted, I would not have had to be re-admitted....several times. I did call & speak to their billing dept. but they say even though I was admitted for the same thing every time....I am still liable for the 2nd co-pay. And I do not understand why it took 6-8 months to send me this 2nd bill!!!Desired Settlement: Resolve this billing issue & dismiss the $750.00 copay.
