I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Regards,
[redacted] It is quite apparent that the business is adamant about selling a product that is inferior; and then they stopped selling it because of all the problems.  They told me that recalibrating the scale would solve the problem. As by the nature of this complaint filed by me they were wrong and do not feel compelled to offer any other solution. Then they try to bully me by telling me too bad; go ahead and try to complain. We are too big and too important to [redacted] Integrity of a sale, an item or simply a promise to fix is not apparently in their best interest. But apparently the $85.00 is so important to them and not their integrity. I shall continue to explain the situation to as many people as I know; and thus far all those that I have talked to agree that the item should be repaired.

I think it is pretty clear. They sell me a product that I readily admit carried only a 30 day warranty. But there has to be some security in knowing that a scale is NOT going to malfunction within the first 90 days let alone within the first 2 months. Their response is full of holes. They claim I contacted them 90+ days after purchase. NOT TRUE. I purchased the scale on Feb 23rd, received it one week later and then the scale first failed on April 25th. By my math it is about 60 days; NOT 90. They immediately started telling me that it was a calibration problem which after 10 phones and numerous tries it appeared it is not. Then they told me they stopped selling that scale due to the problems they were having. I am not asking for anything above fixing my scale, sending me a replacement or refund my money. I want and need a scale. I believed I was buying equipment from a company that had integrity but it appears I was wrong. I believe their bullying tactics about my response to contact [redacted] and [redacted] clearly show they don’t care. If I am wrong then I can admit that; the question is would they?[redacted]

While I do agree that they sale clearly stated a 30 day warranty one believes that they are selling a product that will last for more than 30 days. Additionally the woman at West Lake asked why I did not call in the first 30 days. I explained to her the stupidity of that remark since it did not break within the first 30 days. Consumers should be aware that this company apparently sells items that last just long enough for what I consider is an unreasonable warranty.Desired Settlement: repair or replace my scale
