Review: I hired [redacted] of West Levy PR to produced 2 EPK's (Electronic Press Kit) for 2 of my Artists Monday, June [redacted] 2013. She did an EPK previously for another artist of mine in April (2013) where she charged me $250. On the [redacted] I gave [redacted] $500 in total $250 cash to complete one epk and a $250 check with no date for another artist epk. I asked her if I could give her a check and she not cash it until I sent her the info and she said sure. I did this because it was hard to meet with her and I was coming from the Bronx and it was trying getting downtown to her apartment to pay her again where we met and conducted business. During this meeting she reviewed my artist's music videos and said his videos would not work for corporate america and he should shoot his videos over so they would be more appealing. I even called him and she spoke with him regarding what she felt he should do to improve his videos. She also suggested I purchase another service for $400. I left her apartment thinking about that service but still interested in her doing my other artist's epk. She also said she couldn't give me a receipt right now but could she email it to me the next day for the $500 payment and I said yes. She never sent the receipt and I had to remind her. Once she sent it she put $250 for epk and $250 for a service I never made and I immediately responded saying the check was for my other artist epk. From there we communicated via text message and she asked me when could she cash the check and I told her I would let her know. I also told her via text to disregard that $250 check because I was going to do the $400 service instead while my artist works out what she thought was a problem and could we meet later so I could pay her that total in full. We set a date for Monday, June `[redacted] @ 8PM. On Monday I was with my artist as we went to meet her and I was running 20 minutes late I thought and I text her that info. I wound up getting there at 8:07 and while approaching there she text me and said she was with her super and she may have to push the meeting back an hour. I responded I'm here already so she would know I was there. Her doorman rung and no answer. We waited for an hour after texting her within that hour if everything was still ok and heard back nothing. Eventually we went back to building and the doorman rung her and she said she wasn't expecting anyone. I then showed the doorman her text to me and he said that was weird. I never heard anything from her that night or the next day June [redacted] after several calls and texts until I called her from a different number (my mom line) and she picked up and said she was sick and could she call me back in 5 minutes. I said ok and never heard anything from her. A little satisfied cause we spoke I still needed to speak with her regarding my product so I begun calling and texting again to no response until I called her from another number and her friend picks up and says she's off to the pharmacy to get some medicine and she's been very sick. I told her I don't believe you and she assured me it was true and that [redacted] would call me. I never got that call. I called and text and she finally responded back saying she sent my artist epk to me a couple of days ago but I never received it and that she was suffering from [redacted]. She sent the epk twice to me that day June[redacted]. The check for my other artist epk I didn't think about anymore because I told her to disregard it for the $400 service. On Thursday, June [redacted] I call my bank and notice my account is short $250 so I call her from my phone and my artist phone and receives no response. I call her Friday June [redacted] from my number again and another number and several texts asking her why she cashed the check and she eventually responded asking had I lost my mind calling her from blocked numbers. I called her several times from my number so I tried to reach her the best way possible. She now says that I owe her money and I was a thug threatening her and other garbage when all I was doing was trying to see why she cashed my check. She flipped it and said the check was for my artist epk but I paid cash for the epk I received. She told me [redacted] YOU and she doing a cease and desist. I called and text her all day from 4PM up into early morning Saturday to where she blocked my number. I am highly frustrated and need action taken. I never received any work for the $250 check. On the check it says the artist name who I was waiting for information for. I never sent info regarding that artist or confirmed any other service allowing her to cash the $250 check. After researching I see [redacted] on [redacted] accused of doing the same thing to someone else and saw she has an F rating on Revdex.com. I'm seeking my $250 or an additional epk for my artist.Desired Settlement: $250 refund or an epk.
