I see detailed notes on the account of both [redacted] and [redacted] According to our notes over the years, [redacted] was noted as a resident on the account and our staff, including myself, have talked to Mr [redacted] numerous times over the years (hundreds in total) and he made mention of his wife in many conversationsOur staff knew him very wellIf a couple lives at a home and one moves or is leaving for some reason, they are both still responsible for the balance up to that point and then whichever person is staying takes over sole billing from then onWhen Mrs [redacted] called us in May there was no mention of Mr [redacted] passing awayShe told our customer service representative that he moved out and she didn't know where he was or if/when he would be coming backShe called in May and the only balance owing at that time was for service in March and AprilShe paid that on July 7th and requested a new account be started in her name only, which we didWhen she paid on the 7th, she requested to get a pickup that dayOur customer service representative let her know that if she would like to wait until her collection day of Tuesday, there would be no additional fee to collect her garbageWe let any customer who wants an off-day pickup know that waiting until their day is a less expensive option, just so they know that they do have that optionIf a customer requests an off day pickup, there is a $go back (off-day) feeShe agreed to pay that, so we returned that same day to empty her trash.A gentleman called on her behalf requesting information on the accountWe let him know that we couldn't discuss her account with him without her permission and that is the last we have heard from her or anyone on her behalf
