I am very sorry sorry the complainant feels like this is a scam or extortion, The rules for the *** *** HOA which is managed by ** *** ***, clearly states in the by laws that no vehicles are to be parked backed inWest Metro Security has no input in the by laws or parking rules we just
simply enforce the parking rulesWe charge $for a boot removal fee, which is significantly cheaper than having the vehicle towed for being backed into a parking spaceBefore West Metro Security began booting at the *** *** property the parking enforcement was conducted by a towing companyThe complainant should have gotten a receipt for this transaction with our informationI am not sure if the complainant is a home owner or renting but either way should have been informed about the by laws of the community prior to moving inThose by laws can be obtained at the HOA property management officeI conclude West Metro will not be issuing a refund due to the many other people that have been booted for backing into parking spaces and it would not be fair to refund one person for the same violationThe *** *** community voted in the parking rules long before West Metro Security began enforcement

I believe there was a miscommunication for this complaint as I did speak with the complainant on 8/31 in regards to this issue. I had explained her that I did have pictures and every time she called we were never given a phone number and her number was blocked. I did understand that she felt she was...

getting “the run-around” from my employee during the day and West Metro Security. I assured her that she was not, and she claimed that her sons’ vehicles had been booted and they wanted proof that there were no permits and the vehicles. I explained that there are pictures taken of every vehicle and I could give her proof if she gave me her phone number. I explained her that her phone number comes up blocked and we cannot get her phone number. She stated she would send me a text and that way I could send her the photos of the vehicles. Now I had thought I had given her my personal cell phone, but apparently I did not, and she had sent text messages to the work phone, which I rarely see, but maybe every couple months. I waited for a couple of weeks and never received a text message. The only way I had gotten the phone number was through the Revdex.com and this complaint. As soon as I received this complaint, I called and explain the situation; I apologized for the miscommunication and sent her the pictures of the vehicles, all within 30 minutes of getting this complaint. I also stated, I would not be issuing a refund of $200 because the permits were clearly not visible and that’s why the vehicles were booted. After seeing the pictures, she agreed and stated she will be talking to her son as far as reimbursing her the $200. As far as this complaint goes, I feel there was a breakdown in communication and was not an intentional act to ignore this complaint. Once the pictures were sent I felt all parties resolved the issue. There will be no refund given for this complaint.
