West Plains Mobile Home Park

I am sorely confused as the Revdex.com has this business listed as out of business, but that is false. This slum park still collects money from it's residents every month. The roads are horrible and not kept up. The trailers leak and have electrical problems. There are sewer problems and leaks. There is black mold in most of the units. Broken windows, and roofs that are caving in from lack of maintenance and repair. There are unsafe porches on the units that shake and tremble when walked on. With no railings and broken boards. The Managers are untruthful and only take the time to make repairs on the units their family members live in. Giving other residents the excuse that the owner won't give the approval for repairs. There are no park rules in place so they make them up as they see suits them. Most of them unlawful and only for certain individuals in the park. They raise the rent for selected few, "Those who pay and pay on time" While others are allowed to fall months behind. They charge bogus fees and deposits. The Managers discuss and give out pertinent, private and sensitive information about their tenants to other tenants in the park. There are no work orders readily available for tenants to pick up and fill out. The owner is impossible to get ahold of and tenants are told to look out on rent day and you might be able to catch him as he drives in to collect his money. Very undesirable place to live and sad situation, because the tenants can't afford to take legal action or are harassed into moving out or not following through with a complaint. Those that do complain have an even harder time getting repairs made. I would not recommend this park to any one! I would not want to see anyone else having to put up with the deplorable standards that this park managers and owner holds for their residents. They are truly a first class example of what a slum lord is. Hopefully this helps make the public aware of the injustice going on in this park and soundly warns others away. Just maybe the law will catch up with them and they will face the consequences of their horrible actions.
