I have read the customer's response and would like to state specifically that his allegations and statements are NOT at all the way things were handled I firmly do not believe in the 'he said, she said' saga, so I will not waste any time going back and forth disputing these allegations I have all emails, phone call logs, invoices, etcThe customer only supplied you with one of the call logs I have all proper authorizations and repairs, invoices and receipts Our company has policies and procedures on the way we handle our business and repairs We followed all proper procedures and have been professional in each wayWe have documentation, authorization, call references for all that was repaired and diagnosed on this customer's vehicle I have also been contacted by Chase Visa regarding this customer's complaint/dispute and they have informed me that there will be no reversal in charges That we provided full authorizationAs far as all of the "personal jabs" made towards me by this customer and the allegations of things I said which were not true, well I plan to just leave these alone I know as a person and a business owner that our company, as well as myself, goes above and beyond to do the best we can do for each of our customers I also know that there is a chance that sometimes this is just not possible, so we just do the 'best we can do' and do it truthfully With that being said, I wish the best for this customer

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:[This note assumes that you received the email (and attachments) sent to *** on October 1, I do not see that communication referenced on your Complaint HubPlease let me know if I need to re-submit that information.]I called *** Wrecker on Monday morning (9/25/17) to check on the status of my car*** *** answered the phoneA conversation continued going on in the background with another woman while I waitedI was told that the invoice had been paid, but the car was still there, that something might be wrong with the engineI thought I heard a bit of defensiveness in, "I have all the paperwork right here! Would you like to see it?" I am sure I sounded exasperated, but said yes, please email it to me.I checked my email when I got home from work later in the day, and found what amounted to the final bill and a copy of the credit card receiptThat's it.I called back Monday afternoon, to say that I saw no evidence that authorization had been given, and that I intended to protest the charge with Chase Visa.In the next few minutes I was told my son was a liar, that all phone calls at *** are recorded and she’d prove that my son had OK'd the repairsShe accused me of threatening herI said I was simply giving her a heaout of courtesyShe said I'd hear from her lawyerI said that would be fineThen she hung up on meAt that point I called my credit card company.Clearly, I misjudged how personally she would take the disputeThat is my mistakeBut the immediacy of the defensiveness, and the eventual belligerence (and I simply cannot think of a better or more accurate word for it) made me suspicious that this was not the first time this sort of thing had happened.(Also informing my opinion: The other woman that I had heard in the background that Monday morning I believe was working in the office on SUNDAY, when my son came to retrieve the carShe seemed surprised that there was not a written authorization, saying to him, "well, that's not the first time, we're trying to break him of that habit..." Or words to that effect, referring to the mechanic.)By Monday evening I had received another email from ***, with attachments including a call log (attached) and the original intake slip (a document that she claims serves as a written authorization, but includes neither a specific description repairs nor a price)I have attached the call log *** supplied meThe call made by my son to *** on 9/14, incorrectly annotated as an outgoing call (but corrected in the text of her email - though how this could be a return call without there being a previous call to him, is a mystery) would have been when authorization might have been given verballyBut my son says no; he absolutely did notWe had long agreed that this car deserved no more major repairSo from my point of view there is no paperwork to support the authorization, an anecdotal history of behavior suggesting they have been fast and loose with paperwork in the past, a tendency to exaggerate (recorded phone calls, lawyers, etc.), and a general lack of attention to detail. But the most telling for me is the requirement that I drop the dispute before they'll release the car, despite the fact they have the $I’ve attached the most recent email thread (October -3), and the letter I have no intention of signing.I look forward to the Revdex.com mediating this situation.Regards,*** ***

We were called by AAA on 9/11/to tow a Mitsubishi Lancer that was located in LaGrange, TX. *** *** had his vehicle towed to our shop for repairs, and on the same day removed his personal belongingsWe have a written authorization by *** *** on 9/11/to diagnose and
repair vehicle (attached). On 9/14/our mechanic spoke with our customer letting him know what the repairs would be and what the cost would be and again were given verbal authorization. We do have a printed call log to verify this as well. Our office spoke with our customer on several different occasions during this time to keep him informed of the status of repairs, etc. On 9/24/our customer came to our shop to pick up vehicleWe are normally NOT open for business on Saturdays, but met our customer at the shop in order for him to pick up his vehicleThe customer paid for his repairs by cc with his name, signed repair bill and sign for credit card authorization (attached copy). The vehicle is repaired and running but the customer stated, at time of pick up, that the engine sounded a little funny so decided himself to leave vehicle for our mechanic to look over on Monday, 9/26/17. We have full authorization. As for the allegations made by our customer's father, these are all false

I have read the customer's response and would like to state specifically that his allegations and statements are NOT at all the way things were handled.  I firmly do not believe in the 'he said, she said' saga, so I will not waste any time going back and forth disputing these false allegations.  I have all emails, phone call logs, invoices, etc. The customer only supplied you with one of the call logs.  I have all proper authorizations and repairs, invoices and receipts.  Our company has policies and procedures on the way we handle our business and repairs.  We followed all proper procedures and have been professional in each way. We have documentation, authorization, call references for all that was repaired and diagnosed on this customer's vehicle.  I have also been contacted by Chase Visa regarding this customer's complaint/dispute and they have informed me that there will be no reversal in charges.  That we provided full authorization. As far as all of the "personal jabs" made towards me by this customer and the allegations of things I said which were not true, well I plan to just leave these alone.  I know as a person and a business owner that our company, as well as myself, goes above and beyond to do the best we can do for each of our customers.  I also know that there is a chance that sometimes this is just not possible, so we just do the 'best we can do' and do it truthfully.  With that being said, I wish the best for this customer.
