Since the customer didn't not like the term offered by the extended warranty company, we issued credit for the purchase price plus tax.Credit was issued on 617.Please see attached copy of transaction as proof.It seems that customer did not update her complaint since filing it.Thank you

Customer did not file any complaint or service call within the first ENTIRE year while the unit was under manufacturer warranty.   Eventually she called New Leaf, the extended warranty company to file a complaint about noise. Customer was notified that if there is nothing wrong with the unit...

she will be charged a service charge.   New Leaf sent a technician to diagnose and repair should it be required. They found nothing wrong.   Customer called again with the same complaint. At that point, New Leaf contacted BOSCH – the manufacturer – directly and requested that one of their technicians be sent to diagnose the issue claimed by consumer. Again, the consumer was made aware that they will be charged if there is no problem found with the appliance. As a matter of fact, New Leaf has it on record that they notified her husband of this possible charge and he agreed to the terms.   Bosch went out and did confirm that the appliance was functioning properly (see attached Bosch service report). These are technicians that work for Bosch exclusively and are thoroughly familiar with Bosch appliances. Hence, they would have checked any possible part that could have been the cause of the issue. That includes the spray arms. They are not independent technicians who would simply report that the unit is in working condition when it isn’t.   New Leaf waived the first service fee of $60.00 for the service call. They still have an outstanding balance of $202.00 of which Bosch charged new leaf for that second service call. New leaf will have her contract suspended until the balance is paid.   Drimmer’s would absolutely refund the customer on the fee of the actual extended warranty due to her disappointment of the contracts terms and conditions, however that will void her warranty for which she has another 3.5 years of coverage .

Mark , the salesperson had been made aware of the conversation [redacted] had with Irv but was not notified whether by email or voice message, by [redacted] that he actually had purchased the refrigerator elsewhere. Mark did call him back believing the customer would still want the refrigerator...

since it was finally in. that is why no credit had been issued by 4/**/17.Also, customer never mentioned that he had already initiated a dispute on 4/**/17. Once it was made clear that customer made other arrangements Mark forwarded the request for credit to the bookkeeping department.Meanwhile, as mentioned by [redacted] in his complaint, , the dispute he initiated through his bank was reflected on our bank statement as a debit.Upon further inquiry we realized that the amount withdrawn from our account corresponded to the amount we were going to credit [redacted].since the money had already been debited from our account, we have replied to the bank that we are NOT contesting the dispute as [redacted] had cancelled the order.Please see attached file as proof of our response to issuing bank.Thank you

I agree that I no longer have a dispute with Drimmers but it should be noted that I did not get this refund until I complained to the Revdex.com and even then had to email to  have the actual credit go thru.   I still have a dispute with New Leaf, the extended warranty company itself.  Thank you Revdex.com for all your help.

I did not receive a response from [redacted]s through this site. But they replaced the refrigerator after learning of my complaint. I sent them a registered letter with a copy of it.  Anyway: We received a working refrigerator. So..... in reference to complaint ID...
