I got a loan my for 500$ made my first payment in may 2017 n still here I am in December 2017 over 1300.00 paid in n they still taking my money outta my account... Therefore Im bout to be paying double what I borrowed...

It was made to seem like my loan would get paid off quickly when I spoke with a rep on the phone upon sign up. But after emailing with all my personal information months later, was told they will only tell me over the phone how much I still owe... every single time I call them I wait over half an hour and then get hung up on. I guess that makes sense if they're making bank off the interest they wouldn't. Want people to pay their loans off but I'm trying to get ahead with life not to keep owing over 120 dollars every 2 weeks... customer service is terrible. You guys just want to rip people off.

Review: I got this loan a couple months ago.. I thought I was paying it of.. $120.00 was being taken out of my check biweekly. I have pay over $800.00 on a $400.00 loan. Now I am being told that I still owe more. If I pay it out next pay period it would $481.00 to pay in full. If I don't pay off then I will be charge $120.00 each time until paid off.Desired Settlement: I would like for them to have my account as paid in full due to I have already paid twice for thne amount I have gotten. Thanks in advance.

Review: On January 2,2014 I procured a loan from this business. The loan was, of course a high interest loan with a balance due of $520 on January 17 via ACH withdrawal. I agreed to the terms fully expecting the withdrawal to occur on that date. On the due date of the loan, I received a call from the company. I was informed that through no fault of my own, their ACH withdrawal system was not working properly and they requested my credit/debit number. I informed them that I was uncomfortable with that and I would not give a business that I am new to that information when they already have my checking account info. I was then told that they were changing the due date of the loan to the 31st. I told them that was unacceptable, my rent and other bills are due on that date. I requested to speak to a manager and was transferred to [redacted]. She informed me that the system would not allow her to change the date that far in advance. She said she would make notes in the system for me to call back closer to the 31 due date, she would change the date to the 14th at no charge to me, because it was an error on their part, not mine. I requested an email to have this statement in writing and [redacted] informed me that they were unable to send emails due to security issues. She told me she would make notes of our entire conversation so that anyone I spoke to could handle the loan when I called back. I called the company back on January 27 at 11 AM to change the date as discussed. I was informed that they could not change the date without me paying them more money. I immediately asked to speak to [redacted]. When she finally got on the line, she informed me that she could not change the due date because I had not made a payment on the loan! This is in direct contrast to what she told me last week! I informed her that I will not pay them more money because of a mess up on their end not mine! I also informed her that I DO NOT authorize the company to remove any money from my account on the 31. I also informed her thT I will be filing a report with the Revdex.com. I have no issue paying what I owe, however, I will not pay them more money because they did not remove the money on the agreed upon date. Furthermore, they are trying to make me pay them MORE money due to a glitch on THEIR end! This is unacceptable and dishonest business practice.Desired Settlement: I will repay the amount owed on Febuary 14. The amount owed is 520. It is not my fault or issue that the ACH system is fatty on their end.

This issue has yet to be resolved. They are still claiming to have issues with their automatic withdrawal software. My account is not paid off, I have no idea when the money will be taken out of my account, so I cannot plan accordingly. I also have a feeling they will charge me outrageous fees due to the length of time it has taken to pay this off due to the company's issues. Also... I am a her... Not a him. I understand my name is somewhat unusual however it is obviously feminine

Review: West river cash is an online payday loan bussiness.In October 2012 I borrowed $150.00 from this placed only to still be making payments as of April 2013. They have direct access to my checking account and remove anywhere between $46.00-$150.00 every 2 weeks. The ammount is unpredictable, and the interest rate for this small loan is ridculous. I called to speak with customer service at least 3 months ago to check my remaining balance, and I was tranfered to [redacted] (this company does not provide the last names of the employees) who is the excutive account manger. He was extremly rude and hung up in my face. In addition to onl,y 1st names provided there are no id numbers for the service reps that answer the phone. I called today april 5, 2013 to check the remaing balance with an agent,named [redacted] she informed that only [redacted] 'handles' my account and is out on vacation. She was unable to provide me with any information. This place is a RIP OF! with awfull customer service! Theyre loan sharks and I feel scammed as an honest person paying and inflated debt of $150.00. In the long run I am still paying this company and they have gotten at least $2,000 from meDesired Settlement: I would like an investigation on this company.This company only provides a p.o. box.There is no futher information about a corprate office or any superiors outside of that office. Customer servive agents have direct access to social security numbers and bank accounts.This place is poorly ran and I am surprised there is not more compalints against them. I filed a complaint in the past against this bussiness with Revdex.com, but nothing shows up. I would encourage people not to patronize this bussiness

Thank you for your letter dated April 5th, 2013, with regard to a complaint received from one of our customers. At West River Finance, LLC, we are committed to providing our customers with the highest level of service and we take this customer’s concerns very seriously.

Our company was contacted by the customer on April 5th, 2013. All customers, upon application of a loan, are provided with an electronic Loan Agreement that they are required to sign, which clearly outlines the loan amount requested, finance fees, interest and APR associated with entering into the loan agreement. Furthermore, customers are contacted by one of our Customer Service Representatives to finalize the details of the loan prior to issuance. During this telephone conversation, our representatives explain the terms of the loan agreement as well as the options available to the customer with regards to repayment. Terms of the loan are also described on our website. Still, we regret that Ms. [redacted] did not fully understand the terms of the loan. In response to the customer’s inquiry, we would like to confirm that we have attempted to contact the customer to let her know that as a courtesy we have waived her outstanding loan balance and we now deem her loan as paid in full. The customer can log into her account on our website www.westrivercash.com where a “No Loans* status confirms payment in full. Please see the attached document as proof of paid in full receipt. We strive to provide excellent service to all of our customers and regret the customer did not find her experience satisfactory.

Review: Several months ago I had to move in a rush and took out Loan with WestRiverCash for $300. (I know I should never trust payday loans)..They said my payback amount was $390.00. My rent is due on the 5th of each month so I had requested twice that they take the full amount on the 20th of previous months. Instead they deducted $90.00 from 4 pay periods and then $100 from last payday. I was FINALLY able to speak with a rep, [redacted] and he said I now owe $364.00. My hours have been cut at work and there is no way that I can pay in full as explained to the representative. I don't understand why they did not take the full amount when I sent fax making this request. Our company is downsizing effective Dec. 1st and I am now parttime. I cannot afford to just give them the $370.00 that has been deducted from my check..your assistance is greatly, greatly needed.Desired Settlement: I would like to be given credit for my $370.00 and any balances to be deducted from payday on the 20th not the 5th..I wont have enough to cover rent and transportation to/from work.
