Review: About February or March of 2013 Mr. West of West services has been working on my house for over a year on and off. He stated that the job would take 6 weeks: 2 months tops. West charged me a flat rate of $3000 for his services. Now all of a sudden he wants to charge me for labor. He prematurely cashed checks that I gave him which made me bounce a lot of checks. There's paint on my furniture, nails sticking out of my floors(injuring my dog's paw). He painted unnecessary walls that were already painted, then tried to charge me more money for paint because of his mistake. He tore parts of my kitchen apart (done by someone else who took 8 months)He took my tv, surround sound and cable box down off the wall and placed the tv upstairs on my heating vent. I continued to pay Mr. West for materials that I never received til this day. I asked him several times to write me a contract. He never did...making excuses every time I asked. I only asked him to do work on the family room because that's where I was having the issue of water from the rain coming into my house. He started expanding to the other rooms that I didn't ask him about, then he started doing jobs and bringing materials I never asked for e.g. bringing in doors and doing electrical work. West sent different guys every week leaving a mess e.g. cigarette butts, water/soda bottles and work incomplete. Everything they took apart in my house was placed in my back yard e.g. rugs, nails, walls that were taken down. He kept pushing jobs that I didn't ask for e.g. fuse box and electrical work. There are nails sticking out of the floors and walls that injured my dog's paw. Pictures. He still has the key to my house.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of $4834.80 because I have been looking at my house like this for over a year and I have found someone else to do the job.
