I am reiterating my original response which was we have the documentation that supports the referring physician requesting the exams performedWe have the films and written report that supports the exams were performed, however, in an effort to resolve the situation and to give the patient the benefit of the doubt, we will gladly refund the amount of It is in the process and will be sent as soon as it's completedThank you

Yes, there was confusion over the billing code used in the bill, what we were being told from our doctor office and the referral office, and the lack of accurate customer service provided from West Side. After many letters (including the one attached) and phone calls, I asked to speak to a supervisor. The woman was able to address our questions and accurately explain the billing code used in the receipt. She also listened to our experience in dealing with the office. She took payment, but indicated a discount of $18 would be provided due to our horrible experience.
After that payment was made, my husband continued to receive phones calls and invoices for the final $18 even though the supervisor indicated it was a discount and would be removed.
If it was not a discount, why wouldn't we have just paid the bill in full? This is because of the accommodation West Side made to us - the discount she took payment on. We should not be held responsible for their lack on internal communication. This was just one other problem encountered with this office.
After calling the customer service center again two weeks ago, speaking to supervisors, and not receiving a response like requested, my husband paid the remaining balance to not have to deal with this office again. 
We should not be responsible for the full amount due to the time wasted on resolving this issue and the discount indicated from their own staff.

Review: For over three months, we have been in contact with the billing office about incorrect charges and billing. I finally. Spoke to a supervisor in June who collected payment after explaining all charges. She indicated a discount would be given due to the problems we experienced. My husband continued to get calls for the discounted amount. After calling many times, we continued to receive past due and collection notices even though the remaining balance was in error. We have called several times and receive no assistance. This may affect his credit and is unacceptable.Desired Settlement: ASAP
