Hello; This was a layaway that lasted monthsNo mention at pickup in early Dec was made of any issuesThe system was cheaper because it was the basic systemNone of our used systems come with a headset or 2nd controller unless it is prepackaged that wayOur employee is 100% sure that it didn't
come with anything other than the system, controller, power and TV cablesThis was boxed and put in storage until the layaway was completedIt was not touched and not "switched"The buyer said the system worked fine upon receipt and was only upset about the confusion about the headset and extra controllerThen they said that it wasn't the correct controllerWe offered to switch the controller and throw in a headset to get this resolved but we did not hear back until this week about the controller now coming apartOur employee was trying to work this out and has texts from their son to her so we know when the controller had an issue - last weekWe offer a day replacement warranty on controllers and it has been almost monthsWe have no idea what could have happened in that timeThey called both our stores and berated our employees and threatened property damage and physical harm to usWe have been in business 30+ years and we have never run into a situation like thisWe have sold 1000's of video game systems over the decadesThe buyer was buying this for a present for a grown son of theirs and so was not knowledgeable about video games so we believe they just didn't understand what exactly they were buyingA family friend of theirs, who is know to be a teller of tall tales, has being feeding them stories that he has simply made up and would have no knowledge about which has complicated the situationWe were willing to try and find a solution to this situation but we cannot allow someone in our store who has issued threats of property damage and physical harm to our staffWe have asked them to not returnThank You
