I bought new 2018 kia sportage and the sell manager was going with me what is important to me and I told him a remote starter and he just told me the cost and I agree paid for the car and was given a date for a pick up , so when I went to pick up the car, they hand me 4 set of key and I ask at the time why are they giving me separate remote key they said kia don't install manufacture built in remote , which never mention to me the day of purchase the car . now 10 month later my engine light came on and shutting the engine off when I start the car , took the car to this dealer ship they took 9 days to fix it , now I ask them to remove this remote starter from my car and the dealer ship is refusing me , the manager also don't want to talk to me to solve my issue please help me Thank You
To remove the remote starter complitly from my car , and if they want my business in the future they should also refund me the money they charge me to put it , most importantily , to remove the starter from my car .

The issue with the vehicle had nothing to do with the remote starter that was installed at time of purchase. The starter has no issues and is working fine. If the client would like this product removed, we can assist but we cannot refund the money for this product as it has been over a year since she purchased it. Kia's remote starters are programmed to that specific vehicle and cannot be reused on another vehicle. Again, there is no issue with the product she purchased. If she didn't like the appearance of the product she should have informed a sales rep or sales manager at time of purchase. We have already replaced her windshield at no cost because of some chips that warranty wouldn't cover. I want to help her but there is really nothing I can do. I will have a technician remove it for free but I cannot refund her the money as the product is working fine. Please advise how you would like us to proceed with this.

okay I want this starter completely remove from my car , not just unplug the fuse like a service representative told me before , I don't want it in my car because even they are not admitting it is the problem this pass weekend the blue light is flashing coming and going from it .and after they remove it I am going to take it to other car service place to cheek that if it is completely removed . so in the future they should advice Kia don't have a built in remote starter before they sale a car to customers , if I was told the day of the purchase , definitely I would not put it . ***Thank you
Although the remote starter installed is working as it is supposed to, we are happy to remove it if that is what the customer wishes. Unfortunately, we can not refund the client for the product due to the reasons explained earlier. Please let us know which day from November 26th and onwards works to book you in for the removal.
