West Valley Women's Care Reviews (1)

I had scheduled a check up appointment, and one of the gals suggested that I did my glucose test, that I'd be able to do so as long as I checked in an hour prior to my appointment. At the time, I was not sure that I'd be able to make arrangements, so I told her to leave the appointment as it was, and I'd be calling the day before to let them know if I'd have time to do the test. As I said I would, I called the day prior to let them know that I'd be checking in to do the glucose test. I checked in and was left waiting for approximately 40 minutes, when the gal at the front handed me my insurance card, she said "oh, are you here to do your glucose test?" and naturally I answered yes. She said initially that she did not check the notes on my account, because she had "too much work in front of her," then she said that whoever took the call the day before, did not notate my account. I let her know that it is very difficult for me to make arrangements with work and her response was that I could just be early to my next appointment. Again, being that I just said how difficult it is. I was left waiting for the actual appointment, when the nurse came in, she said it was late to do the glucose testing. I expressed to her that I was extremely frustrated because I had been waiting for a long time, and checked in early, but because someone forgot to do their job, I had to make an extra trip. Her response "Oh, so you checked in early?" I told her yes, she asked if none of the girls had given me juice. I told her no one instructed me to do anything. Instead of apologizing, she said that I had to "speak up" and tell them. So why would I pay someone to do a job? If I have to tell them what to do? I was practically waiting an hour, for an appointment that took five minutes. No one ever acknowledged that their office pretty much dropped the ball, no phone call, nothing. I understand that people make mistakes, but not taking accountability is a big issue. Particularly when I've acknowledged that my work time is very valuable. While I was there, a gal showed up late to her appointment, and she was sent back home and had to re-schedule. So what does the office do when THEY are the ones that drop the ball on things? I am extremely disappointed and upset, as this office was highly referred by a work colleague, and their services are not up to par.
