Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: Both me and my daughter said headlights seemed dim and since it was mid afternoon we couldn't have known that there was no alumination on the road They had as much as just parking lights The dealer knew that and said I see them working because there was enough light so the actual bulb wasn't dark We talked about it and the dealer knew the cost was $for bulbs and another $if they needed ballasts
After we ended up taking it to a MAZDA dealer they confirmed the bulbs were defetive and replaced them (I have their comments in writing) These headlights are HID and very bright The dealer (West's) lied to us and knew the price as they had this car on their lot for 2-months and the salesman said he put the same lights in his BMW after driving this one? Doesn't make sense to me other than he wasn't willing to pay this price
I asked them to rectify the problem and would even be willing to come to some deal about the repair using their shop but that was just around the time he said this was, "above his pay grade" and another man who wasn't even part of the conversation told me to leave I reminded him that there is a day return clause in this state and his comment was, "not at this shop"
The car is fixed and I have proof from a reputable dealer the headlights were fixed correctly and THE BULBS WERE DEFECTIVE which was why they didn't work correctly and we can drive the car at night now I want them to pay that bill (which I can provide) and I am not done with them if this doesn't get resolved immediately I will not work directly to with them as they were very rude and kicked me out which was certainly uncalled for
The law AttyGenCPA clearly states it is ILLEGAL to sell a car that has bad headlights, bald tires, cracked windshield that in blocks your sight They need to live up to the FACTS I don't care if they don't ever want to see me again, I just want them to pay the repair needed to make the car legal.Sincerely,*** ***

Customer states that we sold his daughter a car that the headlights did not workWe have pictures of her standing in front of the car with the headlights on and also pictures that same person sent us with the lights onWe can not measure how lights will
illuminate the road at night and not everyone's perception of brightness is i’m sure differentWe take a lot of pride in our customer service and always encourage and allow customers the chance to take the vehicle they are looking at and get it inspected by their own mechanicOur customers father whom assisted her in purchasing this car told us all about how he is a car guy and didn’t think an inspection was necessary The father did come in to discuss his daughter's business with us after the purchase and was demanding and also belligerent and made threats about lemon laws and customer rights to return a used car sold “As Is”Our salesman also had a text mail discussion with our customer and told her that if she brought the car in for us to see that we would try to help herThis was not done, instead they decided to take the car to a New Car Dealership and let them deal with itWithout seeing the problem and having not inspected the lights after the customer complaints ourselves we are not sure that there is even a problem
