Review: The owner of Westbank Audio advertised a used pair of Yamaha sw118v subwoofers as having new Yamaha OEM drivers installed. When later one of the drivers failed I removed the drivers and found out that the drivers he had installed were not Yamaha OEM that cost approximately $550 for the pair but MCM home drivers that cost $110 per pair.

The owner clearly represented to me that the drivers were Yamaha OEM. I remember clearly the conversation because he said he was selling them for what he had in them as he had taken them in for repair and the person who brought them in had never picked them up. He continued that when he tracked the person's mother down he found out that the person was in jail. He continued that he did not use a replacement brand "Eminence" but used new oem Yamaha. I checked out the price of the Yamaha OEM's and found his asking price was reasonable for these type used and I also found similar Yamaha's online for similar price. The owner states he never said he used Yamaha OEM and will not refund me nor provide me with the drivers he verbally advertised to me. He clearly misrepresented what he was selling, Commercial speaker box with a Yahama label and a very cheap home driver with the label hidden.Desired Settlement: $600.00 reimbursement of the purchase price or 2 new Yamaha OEMS drivers (model 70100) that came in that model and that he represented.
