I bought a used car three or four years ago and they keep calling me asking to trade it in for a new car I didn't mind before, since they were usually polite about it
Then Brian *** called
I started by saying that I'm not interested in selling the car, but he decided to press on for reasons, as if I owed him any I however obliged and told him that I am happy with my current vehicle
"Really?" he replied with the utmost condescension
His tone disgusted me, so when he tried to tell me about buying a new car with lower monthly payments, I simply hung up I did not feel like explaining to him why I would be happier paying no monthly payments (my car will be paid off in a few months) than more years of monthly payments
Brian *** does not know how to take a hint however, so he called back and left a holier-than-thou voicemail
I will no longer shop at Westboro Mitsubishi, and unless you feel like being harassed by a man doesn't take no for answer, you shouldn't either

Defective 2012 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution [redacted] Engine blew twice this year, still making noises.Defective engine on 2012 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution [redacted] leased in March 2012. First time the piston froze to the cylinder wall in March 2014, took 2.5 months to fix and we were refused a rental. Complained about the engine making a knocking noise, they said it was fine. After 1100 miles in July 2014, the intake cam cracked, took 2.5 weeks to fix, was issued a rental after filing complaint with Mitsubishi Motors Corp. The engine is still makingnoises, they claim it is fine. I believe it is a defective vehicle and void of the lease contract.Desired SettlementI want out of the lease, no strings attached, and refund of what was put in toward the defective vehicle. Or replacement of a vehicle of similar value.Business Response Contact Name and Title: [redacted]Contact Phone: XXX-XXX-XXXXContact Email: [redacted]@westboromitsu.comMITSUBISHI DISTRICT SERVICE [redacted] WILL BE AT WESTBORO MITSUBISHI TO MEET THE CUSTOMER ON SEPTEMBER 10, 2014 TO REVUE THIS CASE

There is a horrible smell coming from the car when started & having starter issuesGood Morning I have been trying to contact this company for a year now about a few matters and can not seem to get a response every once in a while someone will contact me then when I reply a few times I can not get the help I need. I am not sure if any of my emails are going the correct people. Since I picked up this car from your company there has been a horrible smell coming from this car and everytime I have mentioned it to someone at Mitsubishi they all tell me there is nothing wrong with it well I took it to get a routine oil change today and they told me that there is definitely something wrong with it that the car shouldn't smell like that, also after one of the coldest mornings this year I had an issue starting this car, when the car finally started it let out a big huge puff of black smoke from the muffler and ever since then its been a little hesitant on starting. I am also sending this email to the Revdex.com. Because I want this fixed ASAP. Please get back to me as soon as you can. Purchase date January 2013, Mitsubishi Lancer DE, $20+ thousand dollars, loan payments. I do not have vin number on me but if you need it I can get it.Desired SettlementI would either like this car fixed for Free or them to replace it for one that actually does not smell and actually workersBusiness Response Westboro Mitsubishi has tried to call [redacted] on a few occasion. Be Very careful with Westboro they do this to your credit report. They ran 28 hard Inguires trying to secure a loan. they did it all at once and it will hurt your credit score. So please read on and here is how you combat them. Anyway stay away from this dealer. The Answer To The Original Question - "Can You Sue A Car Dealer For Excessive Hard Inquiries?"Civil liability for knowing noncompliance: "Any person who obtains a consumer report from a consumer reporting agency under false pretenses or knowingly without a permissible purpose shall be liable to the consumer reporting agency for actual damages sustained by the consumer reporting agency or $1,000, whichever is greater."What this boils down to is.....READ WHAT YOU SIGN! If you applied for financing with a car dealership, then you must have filled out a loan application. Did the paperwork that you signed say that they would submit your application to multiple lenders? If you did not grant them permission to pull your credit, then you may have a case to sue for $1,000, but in my view, it's going to be way more hassle than it's worth. The easiest way to handle the situation to your benefit, is to dispute the inquiries with the credit bureaus that are reporting them.If the creditors that pulled your credit cannot prove "permissible purpose", then the credit reporting agencies will remove these inquiries. If the creditors come back stating they had permissible purpose, you have every right to ask them for the documentation to prove it. Again, if they cannot come up with that documentation, the credit reporting agencies will have to remove the inquiry.Once the inquiry or multiple inquiries are removed, you should see an increase in your credit scores. It's a tiny bit of work on your part, but way easier than trying to sue for $1000.00.1.0 star rating 6/22/2015 PreviousProduct_Or_Service: AutoOrder_Number: XXXXXXXXXXAccount_Number: XXXXXXXXXXDesired SettlementI want all there Credit injuries withdrawn at their cost. They hurt my credit reportBusiness Response Contact Name and Title: [redacted]Contact Phone: XXX-XXX-XXXXContact Email: [redacted]@westboromitsu.comIts is westboro Mitsubishi general practice to run 2 credit bureaus, trans union and experian when trying to obtain a car loan for a consumer- When a customer has blemishes on credit we have up to 8 banks to try and secure for a customer, that may be submitting during process- we don't gave access to the alleged 28 inquires said in complaint as we don't have 28 banks to send application to nor would we have to review an individuals credit multiple times . Its my knowledge that said customer was shopping multiple dealerships during the time he was working with us and may have us combined with other dealerships during his shopping process. Never the less if customer can be more specific and provide us with proof showing that we made 28 inquires we would be more than happy to assist fixing if found that the above allegations where accurate. we strive for complete satisfaction and if at any point these alleged allegations where accurate again we would be more than happy to assist fixing . I look forward to getting this resolved and seeing more information in regards to these allegationsConsumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)Well it's on my credit report. In fact there are more than 28 hard copies. I did not authorize them do do any more than 1.Final Business Response in response to your request - it is our general practice as discussed prior via phone , that we may send a customers credit application to secure an auto loan as requested by customer to several banks, but no where near the 27 alleged by consumer in complaint. Depending on customers prior credit history there may be more several banks that need to review a customers application. we have access to estimated 10 banks , and customers credit 1/2 of those banks may be eliminated right up front. In this case the credit bureau you sent over , it looks very normal as customer was seeking an auto loan on march 24th 2014 and was sent to 3 different banks [redacted] , [redacted], and [redacted] services as well as our initial inquiry. so looks like 4 different inquiry's which is normal. please advise if I can of any more assistance. My vehicle keeps having engine failures. I have brought it in 3 different times to fix the same problem. car shuts off at random especially highwaysI purchased this vehicle about 2 years ago now. I have had problem after problem with the vehicle since day one. I also purchased an extended warranty. There are serious issues with the vehicle and the dealership has neglected to fix them. The vehicle has a major issue that causes it to loose power when accelerating. The car bucks and jumps when driving. However the main issue is that the engine just shuts off at random times when driving, especially on the highway. its is extremely dangerous and unsafe. It happens almost on a daily basis. I have small children that I am have to transport and this car is my only means of transportation. I have almost been killed numerous times when then car just shuts off in the middle of the highway with heavy traffic and cars flying by. When this happens a sign pops on the dash that says engine failure mode and I am forced to pull the car over and turn the vehicle off wait about 5 minutes then turn it back on almost resetting it. As stated before I have brought the vehicle in 3 other times prior to this for the same issue. I have missed numerous days of work and have been forced to use my personal and vacation time due to being in and out of the dealship for this issue. This is also not mentioning the incovenice it has caused other people who have to pick me up and drop me off at the dealership due to not having any other transportation. Due to these constant issue and failure to remedy the problem I decided to call on september 16 2013 to speak with [redacted]. I believe his name was either [redacted] or [redacted]. During my conversation I was explaining to him my concern about the problem not being fixed and my constant missing of work due to being in and out of his dealership however I really wanted to stress the safety concern and how on numerous occasions I was almost involved in very serious accidents due to the engine shutting off and while I was explaining my concern he put me on hold and then just transferred me to the service department. He did this in the middled of my explanation as of saying yeah who cares and just having someone else deal with it. I have been through the service department numerous times prior to this and nothing has been resolved. However, even after all of this I still spoke with [redacted] who even stated that the car was no good and that they, the dealership, should get me out of it and get me something different due to the NUMEROUS issues. At this time [redacted] told me that he would get me loaner car however it would not be available until that thursday september 19 and they would call me to bring the vehicle in. The 19th came and went and no call. no call on friday, sat or sunday. I then called the dealership again on monday sept 23. I spoke with the same [redacted] who said that the loaner car had no returned but that they would be getting in on tuesday the 24 and that he had my number and he would call me. today is now the 15th of october 2013. A WHOLE MONTH LATER and still no call or resolve. This is an extremely dangerous issue that can create potential fatal accidents and the Westboro Mitsubishi dealership has continuously failed to address this issue. As stated before I have had nothing but issues with this vehilce. [redacted] who sold me the car, [redacted], also admitted that the car was no good and he felt horrible that I continue to have issues with the vehicle. He also said that he was going to make it right and help me find a different car, however after finding a suitable swap, the dealership refused to give me what I owed for the vehicle and wanted me to purchase a brand new vehicle AND carry over about 4 thousand dollars that I was loosing in the trade due to them refusing to give me what I owed or the value of the vehicle. THIS WAS LESS THAN ONE YEAR AFTER I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE. Fast forward another year and the issues have just gotten worse and dangerous. This is unacceptable and is illegal. Desired SettlementAs stated above I have had non stop issues with this vehicle. I have tried and tried from day one however even the dealership refuses to fix the problems even after and extended warranty was purchased. The dealerships [redacted] and service department have even admitted that the vehicle has been defected from day one. I have lost hours at work, money from not being able to work. Have been forced to purchased new tires due to the vehicle needing an alignment from date of purchase but was told numerous times by the service department that it just need the tires to be rotated, nope did not work. The vehicle had numerous electronic issues when purchased and I was told that the service department would fix but then after purchase was told they would not do it because it was not considered a safety issue. I have tried to work with the dealership and to no avail the problems, lying and professional mal practice continue. I am seeking an even right off. Just give me what I owe for the vehicle. The dealership has failed to address the safety issues and due to previous practice the problems will just continue. I am also willing to swap the vehicle out or perhaps purchase another vehicle however the I should not have to incur any additional cost. Business Response To whom it may concern, Westboro Mitsubishi service manager [redacted] is handling this on going case. He left messages on 10-21-13 @ 2:04pm, 10-22-13 11:20am. The customer called back on the 23rd of October at 4:24pm. The vehicle is currently being worked on and the customer is in a loaner vehicle. The customer dropped off her vehicle on the 28th, of October.
