Review: They sold me a defective 2.3 carat diamond cocktail ring. We bought the ring online for $2700 on 08/2013. It has 5 larger diamonds and 59 smaller diamonds.

Starting in March/April, diamonds starting falling out. The first one fell out and I had it replaced locally, thinking most women have a diamond fall out at some point. The cost of having the diamond replaced was $50. Then, about 1 month later, another diamond fell out. Luckily, this one dropped right in front of me and I saw it and saved it. At this time I started getting concerned and called Windsor. After many failed attempts to contact the owner via phone and email, I finally reached him. He said to ship the ring back, they'd take a look at it, then they'd call me, then they would fix it for a small charge if I indicated I wanted it fixed by them. Instead of sending it right back to them, I had the ring inspected by 4 reputable jewelers in the area. They all said the same thing: the setting was bad, there was a chipped diamond, it should have been made from a single round piece, not welded together (the top and the bottom), and that I'd be "chasing my tail" with this ring. They ALL said I would continually lose diamonds if I kept wearing it because all of the diamonds were loose. To get the ring fixed at a local jeweler, they all quoted me in the range of $1500-$3000. So, at that point I called Westbury again. I told the owner what happened at all of these jewelers. He scoffed and said that they are just his competitors and they will tell me anything they want to try and get my money. At that point, my fiance and I agreed to just send it back to Westbury with the diamond that fell out. It cost $40 to ship due to having it insured. I repeatedly asked him to call me PRIOR to working on the ring so that I could approve or disapprove them working on it. A week went by and he called. He said nothing was wrong with the ring and that the diamond just needed replaced, BUT that they'd inspect it and call PRIOR to working on it. A week went by and I never heard anything. I called and he never called me back. So, I called again. This time he told me that they fixed it and that I owed them $35, which he said was a very reasonable fee, and also that I needed to pay for shipping PRIOR to him finding out shipping costs. Since I paid $40 the first time to ship it FULLY insured, he charged me $40. I was charged $81.50 or something like that. When I received the ring, he had only shipped it for $8.50 or similar; therefore, he charged me $31 or so MORE than I should have paid. I emailed them and never received an email or phone call back about the overcharge. Then, to top it off, after only 1.5 weeks of wearing my ring, another diamond fell out! I attempted to call them and no answer. I emailed them and no return email.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund plus fees to cover the costs of repairing and shipping the ring. The total comes to $2871 approximately.

Review: I purchased a bracelet for $349 on May ** 2014. I went to return it on June ** 2014 for store credit. I was issued a credit of $318.46 because the store said they paid taxes on the original purchase. I wanted a full credit for what I paid but the man in the store gave me a very hard time and refusedDesired Settlement: I would like a store credit for the amount I spent,.
