politely explained to him was that his car was covered in salt from top to bottom when he came in for the wash.  We have video surveillance from before the car was washed showing this.  I never told him that the snow caused any scratches to his car.   It would have been impossible for him to see these very small scratches with all of the salt on the car.  He stated that he checks his car from top to bottom every day with a flash light looking for scratches and that he did so that day as well.  With that I explained to him that when the car is spotless and sitting in the sunlight all of its imperfections are more noticeable but when it is covered in salt they are not noticeable even with a flashlight.   In addition, as a courtesy I offered to hand wax his car (a $75 value) FREE of charge right then and there which would have completely removed the said scratches from his vehicle.  He said he did not want to have the car waxed then because it was supposed to snow that night so what would be the point.  So I told him he could come back any time at his convenience, seven days a week to have the hand wax done.  He also expressed some interest in a full detail service so I told him if he would like to have additional detailing done I would extend him a 33% discount on that service.   He seemed very satisfied with that and he shook my hand and said he would be in touch with me when he would like to have the car waxed.        I never heard back from [redacted] until he started twisting my words on every public website to try and prove his point.  I once again told him on these websites that I would still Hand Wax his car and remove the small scratches from his vehicle FREE of charge. Review: I use this car wash weekly always getting the top package. I went today to get the dirt off from the weather that has been in the area the last few weeks my last purchase of service was seven days ago. I got home and did an inspection of the car like I always do and did last week as well only to find numerous scratches some deep some light. The car is only 7 months old and I check every inch of the car no matter where I park numerous people have witnessed me do this. I went back only to have the [redacted] say those scratches were caused my the snow during the week. First there was no snow it missed the area last week and the scratches were not there after last weeks service. Second I did not know snow cause straight deep scratches in a cars paint. I baby the car and dont just push ice off when it does snow. The [redacted] said the best he can do is fiftey dollars off a detail. I did not want to argue and cause a scene so I said if thats all you can offer for now I'm not going to fight with you and I left.Desired Settlement: I would like them to pay for a detail at another place being I dont trust the service now or how the [redacted] deals with people.
