We hired Westcan to move my Mother, a senior, from her home of 40 years to a condominium. It was a very tense and emotional time for her.

The movers arrived on time and introduced themselves with smiles and handshakes. They were polite, clean and friendly. They immediately put my Mother at ease and even had her laughing.

They wrapped and secured all of our items quickly and professionally. They handled our heaviest objects with ease and never gave us a cause for concern regarding damage, whether it be to our possessions or our walls/doorways etc.

The unloading on the other end went smoothly. There was constant conversation and laughter, you could tell they enjoyed their jobs. They turned what we feared would be a sad and stressful day into an easy effortless happy day for us all.

I would highly recommend this company to anyone. The pride that the owner takes in his business is reflected through the capable, professional movers he chooses. You would be in great hands :)

The help Wescan gave us was first rate. Our move to the BC Interior from Vancouver was a full day's drive and all went extremely well. Right from the quote all the way through to the physical move we could not have expected more. The moving staff were strong, fit, cheerful, careful, fun and industrious. We did not expect more and Wescan could not have given more.

Hired this company after the owner came and provided a quote. Unfortunately he was all talk. The free wardrobe boxes that were to arrive with his truck didn't come. Workers were not professionally dressed. Did damage to our walls and furniture. Took several smoke breaks. When asked to put runners down to prevent tracking dirt into to our new home they became very and condescending. Complained about where they had to unload furniture to. Left a huge load of garbage behind for us to clean up. We were also told that all furniture would be dismantled and reassembled by crew and they did not do this. Called the next day to speak with owner he has never returned our calls. The main mover [redacted] was rude, swearing and yelling around our new home.

Having these guys move me was the easiest part of my move. The truck was larger then I expected so I knew everything would go in one load. The guys were fast and careful with talking apart and putting my furniture back together. I would definitely use them again. Thanks

We bought our first condo and needed help moving. We had been in our place for 3.5 years and the process of moving again was daunting. After hearing some stories, I was very nervous about hiring the wrong type of company. I had phoned 8 moving companies to get quotes and get a feel for each company. Since it was just after Christmas and right before New Year, I had to leave a lot of phone messages and wait for companies to call me back. Westcan was one of the first companies to call me back. I spoke with the owner directly. He let me know that he wanted my business and gave me a very competitive quote. After speaking to him, I had a good impression about Westcan. After speaking to various other companies and comparing services and prices, Westcan was at the top of the list. The day of the move, they came half an hour early. They were organized and eager to get started. The movers were friendly, professional, and very efficient. They actually finished earlier than what was originally estimated. When it came time to pay the bill, there were no surprises other than that I paid less than the quote because they finished early. This was the smoothest and least stressful move I have ever done. I will definitely hire Westcan again.
