Ms***
Regarding the above mentioned case by *** ***, we have previously reviewed the file and concluded no intentional harm or fault committed by WCA SalesThe vehicle (*** WBADX7C5XBEXXXXXX) was purchased on 07/11/from
Riverside Auto Auction of Riverside, CAAs a precautionary measure, the buyer at WCA Sales requested a FULL INSPECTION to be performed at auction after the purchase and before taking delivery of the vehicle to insure the quality of all vehicle offered for sale by WCA SalesPlease refer to the attached purchase receipt from the Riverside Auction where I have circled the GREEN LIGHT GUARANTEE and the Full Inspection ordered by WCA Sales' buyerI have also attached a copy of the title for the vehicle of concernPlease notice the title is clear with no label of Salvage or Lemon
The vehicle past full inspection at the auction and Carfax reported NO ACCIDENT or Damage at the time of purchase or Sale of the vehicleThe vehicle was further inspected for safety at the dealership and passed the safety inspection as well*** *** purchased the vehicle on 03/12/and even at the point/date of sale Carfax reported no accident or damageI have attached a copy of the Carfax report to this email I ran today 04/17/I have highlighted the date of the damage reported on Carfax to the vehicleCarfax clearly stated the damage took place on 08/18/and 08/19/2010; however, CARFAX POSTED THE DAMAGE ON 07/16/2014!!!! Which is AFTER the purchase and after the SALE DATE of the vehicle
WCA Sales was NOT aware of the damages since the vehicle passed the full inspection at the auction and Carfax reported the damages past the point/date of saleAfter a detailed review of the file, WCA Sales is free of any harmful act against *** ***WCA Sales was NOT aware of ANY damages/accident to the vehicle for the ONLY report that showed damage is dated/reported on 07/16/which is after the Sale date of 03/14/Please contact us back with any further concerns
Thank you,

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 10, 2015/04/30) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
***,
Thank you for sending me the same car fax that I already have, it's definitely not the same one you showed me at the time of purchasedWhen I requested for the original CARFAX, you stated it was "LOST"I understand that the accident was reported AFTER I purchased my vehicleIt's the principle and the fact that I came back to you trying to solve an issue that was not disclosed to me at the time of purchased
You wanted me to trade in my car for the "WRECK VALUE" of what the car is worthThat's a lot of money that I am losingI shouldn't be responsible for an accident that was not caused by me!
Regarding the "Green Light", I have attached a copy of National Auto Auction Association giving me a better understanding of what this means and a picture of my damaged bumper support
Green Light: Ride and Drive
Green is a statement by the seller that the vehicle is being sold free of any known major defects, including
-Drive Train
-Engine
-Transmission
-Rear End
I think I fall into one of these categories listed aboveYou stated above you had the car fully inspected, but right after we spoke I took the car to get inspected myselfI took the car to a reputable BMW auto body shop and all they did was lift the car and already noticed the damaged bumper supportI'm not sure if you had only the outside inspected and not what's underneath the car
I cannot jeopardize the lives of my kids sitting in the back seatI am worried if I do get into a car accident and without a bumper support my accident can cause more of a impact then it shouldn't beYou should go after the auction where you bought the car and not the innocent consumers like me

To whom it may concern,
All our vehicles are listed on our website as well as across third party websites with a disclaimer that clearly states "The price for listed vehicles as equipped does not include charges such as: License, Title,
Registration Fees, State or Local Taxes, Smog Fees, or any upgrades installed by dealer such as, but not limited to: luxury window film, upgraded wheel package, upgraded sound systems, etc.."Nowhere on our website or across our third party sites does it list that any vehicle comes with aftermarket upgrades at no costOur salespeople are also trained to disclose this information to the customers
The pictures posted online are not a "visual" statement that the vehicle comes with the premium wheel package, but rather, a forum to showcase what the vehicle would look like with the add-onPictures are also posted with standard stock wheels on the same vehicleAs I stated above, each vehicle listed has a clear disclaimer that states that the advertised price does not include government fees, licensing, upgrades installed by dealer, etc
MrM was never harassed with any phone calls at allHe was contacted once by the GM at Westcoast in order to turn his experience into a positive one, as we at Westcoast genuinely care about our clients, however, MrM was not interested in thatInstead, MrM proceeded with verbal threats such as "you don't know who you are dealing with" and "you don't know what I'm capable of", which is when Westcoast contacted the Montclair PD in order to diffuse the situationMrM was never once harassed by Westcoast
MrM was also served with a letter from our legal team informing him to not contact Westcoast nor its employees due to his verbal threats

This response from Westcoast Auto is 100% "UNTRUE" and 'MADE UP"I can document the claims I have made and will be happy to do so as I have a complete file with pictures Documenting the experiences I've had with Westcoast Auto and the review I gaveAlso My Name is "NOT" *** & I have "NEVER RECIEVED" a letter from any attorney! I find in interesting a proof of delivery was not posted to back up your claims of this so called letterThese accusations are being made because I refused to take down an honest review of the way I was handled & treated at the dealership & to try and prevent me from going to the Revdex.comThe car they posted in their response attachment to you is not any of the cars I looked or inquired about nor does it have custom rims Like most of the cars they sell on the lot and the verbiage in the disclaimer they provided is not the same as the disclaimer of the cars I looked atI was looking at CAMRYS! I stand by my complaint and review I gaveIn closing this dishonest response from Westcoast auto is not an apology or a satisfactory but thank you Revdex.com for you help in this matterI will simply avoid this dealershipSigned, Dissatisfied consumer
Final Business Response /* (4000, 14, 2015/08/21) */
***Document Attached***
Please find attached a disclaimer pulled off of our website for a CAMRY, since MrM clearly didn't understand when we stated that this disclaimer is posted across the board on ALL our vehicles, and not just certain ones

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Again this is not one of the cars I looked at and the video ad they posted would show what I speak ofSkirting around the point is not a valid responseAs I stated I can prove what I say in my complaint and will not except these excuses and diversions as there are no truths to themFurther more you can cIose this complaint, not romove but close it out because I don't see it being resolvedI simply will not consider ever buying from Westcoast Auto salesNor do I want anything from them as they seem to thinkWhat I wanted was to buy a car from a upfront customer service oriented dealershipAgain thank you Revdex.com for help in this matter

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 9, 2016/07/22) */
On 6/5/16, the customer purchased Theft protection from Westcoast Auto Sales for the amount of $799.00. The customer signed and agreed to the contract which discloses that the latter limited warranty is cancellable, but non-refundable (a copy of...

the signed contract is included). In opposition to what was stated in the claim submitted by the customer, no GAP insurance was purchased. When Partners Alliance Corporation was contacted by the customer, GAP and Theft Protection might have not been distinguished and the customer's inquiry might have been miscommunicated, While the GAP Insurance is cancellable with a refund due, the Theft Protection is cancellable but non-refundable. As demonstrated towards the middle of the singed contract, in the section titled "Cancellation," Theft Protection is cancellable: however, it is clearly stated that ' No refund will be due." Nonetheless, since customer satisfaction is our main priority, as a courtesy, we issued check#XXXXX to California Republic Bank for the amount of $799.00 to be applied to the customer's principal amount (please see the copy of the check).
Sincerely,

Regarding Mr. [redacted]'s latest response, every vehicle for sale has a disclaimer. It is clearly stated on every vehicle and on all advertising media the added accessories and optional products are not included in the price of the vehicle. All...

interested parties to contact the dealer first and inquire on the vehicle of interest. No purchase necessary. We value transparency and all clients are informed of all accessories and optional products first hand. I have attached to this FINAL reply a sample of a vehicle offered for sale. Kindly refer to the disclaimer. While other companies post such disclaimer only on their website front page, WCA Sales placed the disclaimer for transparency on EVERY vehicle and all advertising media. The client has options to contact WCA via a phone call for further information and make an informative decision as to conducting business with WCA sales or with any other auto dealer in the market.
Thank you,
WCA Sales

One of the many problems with the explanation provided by "WCA Sales" was that they recommend calling first to inquire on the vehicle of interest, I called first and specifically asked if the exact car had any additional charges, I was assured it did not (bait and switch). This practice of jacking up the price is meant to convince the buyer that they are getting some sort of deal when the salesperson comes down for the previously quoted additional $1,700 to get closer to the actual listed price when in reality, they have done nothing but falsely inflate the price of the car to secure the asking price. Look, if your credit stinks and no one else will loan you the money then maybe this is the place for you. If you have decent credit or better, get your loan preapproved at a real bank or credit union, do your research and find the car you want for the price you want, and go to a real dealership (not WCA)) and buy your car, nobody needs to play stupid games.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2016/08/15) */
The matter has been discussed with both associates Argenis and [redacted]. The claims by [redacted] are 100% false and clear case of defamation. As per associates, [redacted] was offered the options yet the latter declined. As per associates, the options were WAIVED per request. However, [redacted] was offering a very low Sale price for the vehicle much lower than advertised. His offer was declined by WCA Sales. At that point [redacted] started using his position with the CITY OF RIVERSIDE to gain leverage on the sale price. The associates at WCA Sales declined the low offer and were not deterred by [redacted]'s position with the City of Riverside. Again, all such allegations are false with a clear intention of defamation by an individual using a government agency job/position to gain leverage on WCA associates.
To recap, all optional products were clearly communicated. Such products were WAIVED per [redacted]'s request. Still the latter demanded further discount even using his job with the city as leverage. The low offer was declined which clearly did not go well with [redacted] and even went further to a next step of false allegation and defamation.
WCA encourages and forces transparency and a great buying experience. On the contrary, we deal with over 90% prime and near prime credit. WCA Sales does not practice or encourage switch and bait that was used by [redacted] in a wrong context. WCA Sales deals with prime vehicles and prime clients. [redacted] was extremely disrespectful of the associates and even the manager on duty. WCA associates did not break any policies/practices in this incident but rather a case of a rude and disrespectful customer to associates and manager.
