Ms [redacted] stayed with us on January 21,During her stayed the police discovered that the man ( [redacted] ) in her room was a felon and wanted on Felony warrantsMs [redacted] was arrested first for obstructionThe police attempted to apprehend Mr [redacted] and he barricaded himself into another room and threatened suicideThere was a five hour standoff with the police including swat team and a mobile police unit on the propertyThe hotel staff was not allowed in the room until the police had gone through everything in the roomHotel staff did not get into this room until about 2pmAt that point the room was scheduled to check out that day by 12pmHousekeeping did find a few belongings in the room including personal items such as hair straightener, various make up, and a few items of clothingWe still have these items at the front deskShe may pick them up at anytimeThe police did return some items to the sister of [redacted] We were not informed of what items were removed from the roomWe did not find a purse, car keys, cash, cell phone, or any of the other items that she listed as missing We allowed her to leave her car parked on our lot which has been picked up as of 02/01/Below is a link to the news report of the incident at the hotel [redacted] Wanted man arrested at Boise hotel www.ktvb.com Boise Police arrested a wanted man Saturday at a local hotel after a search and standoff that lasted almost five hours

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:this does not get my items or hard ache I have had to go threw resolvedI have had my whole life thrown upsode down due to this and you as well as your staff was extremely rude to me while I was trying to get my itemsI still don't have the title to my car my social securuty card both vitrification and some of my cards replacedThe amount of time and money I've had to spend to deal with the loss of my things is still adding upI'm still without stress from all of this headacheI want reimbursed for my troubles and difficulty in my life your company has causedIf you "overheard" the police giving items from the room away you should have as a company protected your customers belongings and protected your company by not giving some random person items from s room checked out to meNot me [redacted] I am not satisfied or happy Sincerely, [redacted]

Hi Ms [redacted] , In response to your most recent complaint: The hotel staff was not allowed on that floor as well as the floor below until after 2pm.So if you did arrive prior to 2pm, I would have told you that the police have full control of that roomI would have also told you that you have to ask the police, which were all over the propertyIt seems to me that you would have asked an officer if you were concerned or stayed on the property until it was over to collect your belongings We did not have access to that room in addition to the other rooms on those floorsMyself and the General Manager were both personally on the property for this entire situation, from beginning to endThe fact that you contacted the Revdex.com has no bearing on the fact that we did not have access to this room nor did we have any part in the decisions that were made regarding that roomThe police did what was necessary and we stood by and attempted to keep the rest of the hotel together, while it was unfolding We do not know what was in the room prior to the arrest, during the arrest, or after the arrestThe police made the decision that they were going to give certain belongings to the sister of Mr [redacted] We had absolutely no say in what belongings were removed from the roomIt was not discussed with the staffI just overheard them saying itBelieve me when I tell you that if we had any of your belongings any manager on this property would have returned them to youWe have had housekeepers return thousands of dollars amongst many other personal belongings that are worth significantly more than what you are missingI am sorry that Mr [redacted] put you in this situation and that you have had to go through all of thisI completely understand what it feels like to be without those personal items, especially as a women I truly hope that this all works out for you Beth M [redacted] Front Office manager BethM [redacted] | FrontOfficeManager T 208-383-| [redacted] @redlion.com RedLionHotel-BoiseDowntowner 1800FairviewAveBoiseID83702UnitedStates redlion.com | Facebook | Twitter

This issue was not resolved at allI was unaware of Mr *** warrant and that has nothing to do with my belongings not getting returned to meI was arrested because I would not give to police permission to go into my roomI was booked into the jail and released out in minutesI was back in the community by amCheck out was at 12:Immediately after my release I went down to he hotel as well as called and made contact with the front desk to get my belongingsThis was at 10am once again with check out being noonThey refused to give me my things and when they did decide to get my a few of the items which was everything that was unimportantNot including my purse and wallet money basically my entire life, call phone etc they then gave my items away to Mr *** sister which has nothing to do with my life or *** life and had no right what so ever to take anything from a room registered to me and me onlyThey blamed the issue on the police at first and when I told them I was contacting you and well as the police they changed the story to giving my belongings to *** *** sisterI am still without an ID all my credit cards car keysI had to purchase a new phone and have none of my clothingI was reimbursed for everything they gave away of mine that I can not get backIt has devastated my life and I have lost everything due to thisEvery penny I had to my name is goneIn a town I do not live in Please reimburse me your mistake.
