I got a letter from the consumer stating that she called me in September which she did. She said the roof was leaking so bad that it was rotting. I got up there and walked around on it and saw nothing. I told her nothing was wrong with it. I went out and talked to the renter and renter said... that the hole in the roof was caused by a tree limb. This obviously would be an insurance claim and not a claim under my warranty. I had the inspector come out and inspect and he could not find anything wrong with the roof and he stated the rotten wood was caused by lack of maintenance. I had two other roofers come out and they also could not find anything wrong with the roof . I asked them why the wood was rotten (beams, fascia and some soffit) and they said it needed to be maintained. I told her she needed to wrap it in aluminum. I also had two reputable contractors come out and they said they same thing. Each time I had the renter come out and see. This has nothing to do with the roof work that I did. I told her if there was something wrong with my work I would correct it but there is nothing wrong with it. I have had five people, besides myself, including a building inspector state that my work is satisfactory. I feel like I have done my part. The building inspector is from the City of [redacted] . I did not cover anything rotten. This house is about 45 years old.
Hi, I am presently in litigation with this business so I do not wish to comment on the businesses responseI just don’t want to loose the ability to file a complaint after the litigation, but yet I do not want to continue with this one because of the litigationAlso, would it also be possible for you to remove my original review? Thanks
