There is no record of Mr*** ever calling the facility or coming in to cancelThis is the first time we are hearing of thisMr.*** will need to supply sufficient proof that he reached out to the owner to cancel numerous times as he statesThis complaint is 100% and if Mr.*** would
like to cancel he will need come to Westerly Fitness and speak with the Owner, directlyUntil this is done his membership remains active

I understand your positionFrankly, I could care less about the $20, this is a matter of principleIt is shocking to me that a business owner would so firmly accuse a client of outright lying over $If you, the owner, had called and had a brief, respectful conversation about the issue, rather than having an employee call on your behalf with nothing to say other than that you "would not be providing a refund" with no explanation, I'm sure we would have come to a quick resolutionIt is your disrespectful tone and unwillingness to even consider the possibility that someone in your company could have made a mistake that fuels this ridiculous conversationYou can keep the money, apparently your business must really need it

It is our position that the appropriate paperwork was filled out as the business requiredMy wife and I both distinctly remember the day she completed the paperwork, as she had not been utilizing her gym membership for several months and we decided to discontinue her membershipIf the business truly has no record of this occurring, that is their error.[Regards,

Im sorry it does not satisfy your issueHowever, these are policies to agreed upon when joining in order to cancelIn response to your membershipYou pay $per month with 2x per year enhancement fee of $(Jan and July)Any months that saw a charge higher than $per month were due to late fees due to your account being rejected due to "insufficient funds"We will continue to bill you until cancellation is provided by coming in and speaking with the ownerThis case is now closed on our end and there will be no further response Have a wonderful day and thank you for choosing Westerly Fitness

We have no existing documentation of members request to cancel. To cancel a membership the member must come into the gym and fill out paperwork. Paperwork is then left for the owner in a specific file. No such paperwork was filled out. Due to the lack of ability to follow procedure the account was...

charged in September. We have since terminated the membership in order to make the customer happy however the memberships state that there are no refunds. Again, since the member was unable to follow procedure to cancel, the account was charged but in order to help rectify the situation the account has been closed and no further charges will be made. The member is 100% at fault. Attached is the documentation to show what he have on file and the cancellation policy. Attached is the membership form that [redacted] ([redacted]) filled out.
