Westermeier Martin Dental Care Reviews (3)

The business has responded to the complaint, however requested the response not be published

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Regards,
[redacted] The terms for repayment of the $500 are agreed to (gratefully) with the following request of alteration of terms; $100 per month due on the 15th of each month beginning on June 15th, 2015 and each of the next four months. I am very grateful to WM for all the consideration extended to me thus far. I stated as much in my initial complaint. My pension checks are deposited on the second Wednesday of each month. Hence the request for a due date of 15th of the monthI am respectfully requesting Westermeier Martin to provide a statement detailing; The charges for each stage of the plan as it has evolved, to include dates of payments by CareCredit. The application of the Veterans consideration and the impact thereof on the total charges for the plan.Charges and details of what is still pending. i.e. lab fees, molds/impressions.A detail of the protocols/procedures in place to handle contingencies (tooth loss, etc.) occurring due to delays caused by financial issues. What is required of me to secure delivery of the product contracted for. i.e. when will the dentures/partials be delivered? In addition, I am offended to read the complaint clerk characterize this issue as simply, "From what I can tell, it seems  that all of this complaint is centered on that he does not want to owe Carecredit." I have no issue with paying CareCredit other than that the individual charges submitted by WM are concurrent thus making the terms of the no-interest payment schedule impossible to fulfill. The last two charges were for no-interest if paid in six months. Also, I DID NOT DECLINE the offer of Veterans consideration by Dr. [redacted]. WM refused to move forward with any work until any open balance was satisfied. This is understandable, but one would have thought some consideration would have been forthcoming in light of the payments made to date.I fully expect the Veterans consideration is and will be available going forward. Again, I asked for an accounting of this consideration and the impact on the total plan charges in my initial complaint. Apparently the complaint clerk failed to note this request. I also addressed the issue of availability of credit from CareCredit in my initial complaint, stating WM would be authorized to charge CareCredit as credit becomes available. Someone with an objective eye should read the complaint!

ID#  [redacted]Dear [redacted], We were very sorry to hear of Mr. [redacted] complaint  against us.    It is truly our goal to give each of our patients  an exceptional patient  experience in our office  and thankfully we succeed  99.9% of the time. In regard...

to  Mr. [redacted] desired settlement:  We cannot reverse the charges of 2/7/14  since they do not exist.  His initial appointment with our office was on  4/28/14 and that was at no charge.   The  10/16 payment of $844 was for treatment rendered in our office  on  5/22/14 for a total fee of $2691,  that he signed for and agreed to  (att).    Payment in our office is due at time of service -please note his payment was not made until almost 5 months later and that he still owed a balance after this.    We were very generous and lenient in allowing him to take his time to pay on  his bill for work already done.  Mr.  [redacted] called us on 3/4/15 to report that now additionally  his upper partial was broken and he would like it fixed.   At that time we informed him he still owes a balance for previous work.   We again called Mr. [redacted] on 3/12/15 and offered him a military veterans’ discount in honor of his military service so he could fix his upper partial, patient declined   treatment due to finances.  During this  same phone call, Mr. [redacted] authorized us to put the remaining $500 balance on his Carecredit.    This  $500 payment he is now  disputing  is for lab fees  incurred during the 5/22/14 visit,   (lower denture, which we have not finalized as originally requested by him , since he did not have the financial means to pay for it.)      From what I can tell, it seems  that all of this complaint is centered on that he does not want to owe Carecredit , he would rather owe us and pay us directly.  We  agree to this.   We can refund the $500 Carecredit payment and he will can pay us directly at $100/month for 5 months., due on the 5th of each month. Regards, [redacted] Practice Administrator Westermeier & Martin Dental Care
