vehicle. When the mechanic put the vehicle on the lift to check the stability of the front end to see if the alignment will hold. According to the mechanic the ball joints had excessive movement and he could not continue with the alignment due to excessive wear on the ball joints. The mechanic informed the service writer of his findings. Service writer then entered the information into the system and explained the finding to Mr. [redacted]. Mr. [redacted] then responded by saying "is that why my tires are wearing like they are", service writer said yes. The service writer then printed the estimate and gave it to Mr. [redacted]. Mr. [redacted] then indicated that he wants to turn that vehicle into a performance vehicle and therefore he was going to go and purchase the parts to get it repaired. Mr. [redacted] did not question or dispute the $29.98 when in fact we had originally told him $49.99 for an alignment. That is a flat rate providing that the front end is in good condition to conduct the alignment. When Mr. [redacted] mom called she spoke to manager [redacted] very upset and Mr. [redacted] explained to her what the process is for an alignment. Mr. [redacted] told Mrs. William that he would refund her $9.98 back because when Mr. [redacted] called for a price the service writer did not tell him that its $49.99 providing the vehicle does not need any repairs. She refused and conversation ended.Anywhere you go the facility has pricing boards hanging or posted as we do and that is just a base pricing on any mechanical work providing no additional repairs are required.If you have any questions, feel free to contact [redacted] at ###-###-####, opt. 1.Thank you
